Below are 21 quick links to each pack, sorted by game category.
All of the songs are tagged according to the official list taken from the Smash Bros. DOJO!! (http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/music/music24_list.html).
Each track loops only once, as it should.
I am going to mirror 19 out of the 21 packs on RapidShare, the ones I’m not mirroring are the two that are over the 100MB limit.

Everything here has been re-encoded from scratch and encoded at the highest possible setting to ensure the highest possible quality.
If you had downloaded any files from my older thread, I highly recommend updating your files with this release.
Now you can also download some of these songs individually, though some songs have been grouped together because their play length is very short.
E07 | Obstacle Course
Music from K.K. Slider’s performance on the Smashville stage
N07 | K.K. Cruisin’
N08 | K.K. Western
N09 | K.K. Gumbo
N10 | Rockin’ K.K.
N11 | DJ K.K.
N12 | K.K. Condor
Don’t know if I’m stating the obvious or not, but X22 is the song that plays when you clear Classic Mode.
Yes, all of the songs are tagged according to their official English track names.
That’s just an option, you can download the entire pack of songs as well.
Once, and it really makes every track sound that much better, especially vocal tracks.
The only reason others have each track looping twice is because that is the default for "in_cube.dll" the plug-in that allows for the ".brstm" files to play.
What do you mean? These are the actual files on the disc converted into .mp3 files.
The original file format for these files, as they were on the disc are .brstm files, which are only playable through Winamp using the in_cube.dll plug-in.
Using that plug-in, they were converted to .mp3 files.
This is not a line-in recording, as those are typically very low quality.
I downloaded those immediately and happily cherished them since, but unfortunately, the highest bit rate there is 204 (belonging to Electroplankton).
I don’t know a single thing when it comes to statistics, so does that mean that each song here is of a higher quality than the original set released, even if they were converted via Winamp as well?
All of the different versions have used the in_cube.dll plug-in with Winamp.
It’s all about what you do with the files from there.
I have definitely noticed a huge jump in quality from the files you mentioned, to the ones I have encoded and posted in this thread.
As a bonus everything is tagged according to the official English track names as well.
What fun it’s going to be to transfer my play counts manually to your MP3s; I have 270 plays on Mt. Dedede and about 40 others are closely following it!
It seems that the .torrent is working, as someone is currently downloading the files from me at an average of about 60 kB/sec.
If you are going to choose the .torrent as your method of download, try to seed it for a while if you can, thanks!
To make it a little easier I’m going to upload the packs to RapidShare as well. =)
Don’t forget you can also grab the .torrent (http://www.cyantre.com/HQ_320_kbps_Super_Smash_Bros_Brawl_Original_Soundt rack.torrent) for all of the music as well, if you would prefer to download the files that way instead.
The first few packs are available on RapidShare now too.
I’m uploading the rest of the packs to RapidShare as well.
It can’t hurt to have a mirror of the files. =)
Has anyone here tried the .torrent (http://www.cyantre.com/HQ_320_kbps_Super_Smash_Bros_Brawl_Original_Soundt rack.torrent)? If so, how is it?
The RapidShare mirror may be good for when you reach your limit on FileFactory, however many files / MB that is. =)
According to my statistics, no one has downloaded the music from Star Fox or Animal Crossing yet.
I’m just curious if it showing up on any of the .torrent seach engines.
Also you might want to make a note that you need to right click the torrent link and "Save Target/Link As", because if you just click on the link a bunch of weird stuff appears.
Personally, I would suggest Torrent (http://www.utorrent.com/), for all .torrent downloads.
So far I’m the only one seeding it, but I’ve upload 3.24 GB so far, so more than one person has gotten the whole thing, as the total for everything 1.20 GB.
But it does say that the tracker is ok, I just need someone to seed.
If you don’t know what it is, it’s probably best not to bother with it.
You can download individual songs by clicking on the links in the first post of this page.
Each file is compressed into a .rar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rar), and you will need a program such as WinRAR (http://www.rarsoft.com) to extract the .mp3 file inside.
In layman’s terms:
.rar = fortune cookie
.mp3 = fortune
WinRAR lets you break open the cookie. ^^
And jesus christ to the guy with 200+ plays per track. Variety is the spice of life O_O
You’ll definitely enjoy the high quality of these, much better than the last batch. =)
Play count:

(I just decided to keep these Brawl tracks and simply add the others)
I can help you find some of them based on my tracks, but most are obvious enough.
I’m big on tagging everything as accurately as possible, so seeing "VARIOUS" listed as the artist makes me cringe a little. ;P
For those confused by the word scrobble, google last.fm
And I am the type of person who constantly replaces things to get a better version.
A more noticable difference in my version is the proper tagging and the fact that each track only loops once.
If you just can’t leave the artist track blank, I recommend doing what the Smash Bros. DOJO!! does to indicate an original track, and use the star symbol.
Though it’s just a suggestion. I don’t mind having the artist tag blank for non-arranged tracks because it makes it very easy to see which songs aren’t arranged.
None of the tracks have more than one arranger. Some other people have mixed and matched composers and arrangers into the artist field.

Original Soundtrack Album Quality at it’s best

No, this is something EditorArtist threw together. Those tracks have nothing to do with the game, because they don’t appear on the game disc at all.
Don’t waste your time with it. A majority of the links are to OverClocked ReMix files, or tracks from other video game soundtracks.
Thank you as well. If I recall correctly you helped out with providing some of the original files, or at least information about the contents of the game disc.

Aww, laaame!
Well, they do have something interesting on there- they’re putting the Brawl soundtrack up too, one pack at a time, and apparently with proper tags. Unique art for each track too!
Not sure about audio quality, you should drop him a line and ask him to use your rips.
You can download all of the packs here from two different file hosting sites, as well as each song individually.
Perhaps after all the work I put into this, I’m of the though, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.
He is using his own version, and he is messing with the files manually, which in my opinion is unnecessary as the soundtrack is perfect as is.
Even though the NES and SNES were limited, they still produced some of the catchiest video game music to date.
I was only responible for getting hold of the English SFX and double checked that the "lost" tracks were not on the disc. There are originally a myth and do not exsit!
**OFF-TOPIC**
I have ripped the Music & SFX from Mario Kart Wii.
Links coming soon… In a seperate thread of course!
Edit: I have just made a discovery, the files on the disc are the same format as SSBB (.brstm & .brsar) which should be easy to extract.
There are 2 different variations for each of the course tracks.
Also, I’m listening to them right now. Cyantre, do you want to do the honour of converting the brstm files? If let me know via PM and I’ll send you the files.
Yes! I actually was trying this myself today, but had no such luck.
And yeah, this game has given me the greatest urge to go around collecting chiptunes. I have some friends that would be able to find me anything not on here..
And after three years of gradually getting into more conventional music, I stray back to my roots. God I love video game music <3
If you don’t so much care about .mp3 files, I suggest Zophar (http://www.zophar.net/[/url), as they have a nice collection of music.
You’ll just need Winamp and the appropriate plug-ins, which can also be downloaded from the site.
You’re welcome. I’m glad you are enjoying it.
I am confident that this is the best version of the game soundtrack you will find, which is why I put all of the hardwork into it in the first place.
I had to thank you Cyantre. I just love the organization and sound quality of this compilation. Thanks again for your time and hard work.
Torrent’s working just fine.
BTW, Torchwood is F***ing awesome!!
However, I noticed that the filefactory link to #18 (Animal Crossing) does not work.
I’m glad everyone is enjoying it, it make the work I put into it worth it.
@Glux247
Wait until you see the season two finale for Torchwood, it’s amazing.
@SRGFNY
I appreciate you taking the time to make your first post in this thread just to say thank you. =)
It’s likely they’ve been removed due to inactivity. If you come across such a problem, let me know and I’ll reupload it.
I’ll seed it myself again for awhile, I guess.
I’ll seed it tonight, so far I’ve uploaded a few MB to someone connected to me. Let me know when you finish downloading this.
Thanks for the heads-up.
I guess FileFactory deletes a file if it hasn’t been downloaded within a certain amount of time.
Out of the 256 individual songs, only 140 are up.
I don’t think I’m going to replace the missing individual files if that is the case, but I’ll make sure the packs themselves are available for a while.
I have 28% at this point. I hope it doesn’t stall this time.
I have 28% at this point. I hope it doesn’t stall this time.
Most of the packs are mirrored on RapidShare, so if FileFactory is giving you trouble, try those links.
I would if the Super Smash Bros. Pack was on RapidShare. I need 4-10, and RapidShare locked me out after only a couple of downloads too.
Hasn’t anybody ever heard of DivShare? I mean, they’re ten times better. . .
I’ll look into DivShare, but I’m not making any promises.
Yeah, good luck with that. Depending on where you look, I know often the information contradicts each other. I only wish Nintendo would have given credit to the composers as well as the arrangers, instead of simply listing the copyright information.
I read that you know of the links dying slowly on FileFactory, but could you re-upload Wii Shop Channel? heheh, that song is just relaxing, and I don’t want to DL the entire pack.
Thanks! I wish more people would put in the effort you do. The tagging is beautiful.
19-14 (http://www.filefactory.com/file/f48027/) | Wii Shop Channel
Enjoy! =)

I do not speak well English, but it attempt, I mean that I am unloading the file but the 19 say that no longer exists They can help me?

…*crickets*
Well, sweet occurance here! With help from Skunk’s thread and GameFAQs I have almost everything with some form of artist tag. Some are a bit ugly (two composers I put them with a comma inbetween) and some were left blank (too many composers on the team, or I couldn’t find a listing).
These are the following games whose songs are without an artist tag due to the aformentionned problems. Otherwise I jammed SOMETHING in there.
– Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast
– Kirby & The Amazing Mirror (Skunk had a listing, but I couldn’t confirm)
– Star Fox: Assault (Same as above)
– Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
– Famicom Medley (too many, I’m considering putting the evil "SSBX Sound Team" on this one. I have a "KCE Sound Team" tag on Cavern too…)
– Brawl (No specific arrangers are listed for original material so it’s impossible to know unless we get a list. This will likely end up tagged as "SSBX Sound Team" for me too) (Chose: Shogo Sakai since he has been known to be a very prominent arranger for the game. Screw everyone else!)
For artists that I put questionable tags for simplicity…
– Kirby’s Air Ride (right now I have a tentative Hirokazu Ando because he’s the one I recognised)
– Melee (I put Hirokazu Ando since he was listed as audio lead somewhere I read)
– Mario or Zelda that’s from the original game (I put Koji Kondo even if I had no listing, or if there were multiple composers because he’s awesome)
– Environmental Noises I put "Hajime Wakai" as the artist to match most of the other Pikmin stuff. Not like I’m gonna be listening to it much anyway
For some, there was a specific artist that performed it, so you can ignore arrangers and composers like most popular music does
– Many Sonic songs by "Crush 40"
– Three vocal Pikmin songs by "Strawberry Flower"
– "Calling to the Night" by "Natasha Farrow"
I was doing that too. Sadly, some of them I couldn’t find the info for. Like Donkey Kong’s Barrel Blast. Gamefaqs and Wikipedia didn’t have it, and I searched on Yahoo!, and I still couldn’t come across any valuable information.
I have the artist information on all the songs except for DK’s Barrel Blast, Famicon Melody (as with mattgcn, I was too lazy to look up all the references), and Environmental Noises (because that’s absolutely unnecessary — it’s folly artists).
For Brawl, it was Shogo Sakai. He did the majority of the music specifically made for the game (Target Smash, Trophy Gallery Menu, etc.)
I’m actually in need of the Giga Bowser theme. I have everything else, but it seems that one has died as well.
BTW, Cyntre, there is a definite difference in quality from the first set to the current. The old stuff, you can hear the graininess, and the new stuff is clear. Thanks a bunch.
Yeah, I noticed it right away myself which I why I went through and started over from scratch. =)
Good luck with tagging, I myself am happy with what the game provides.
I don’t particularly care if the artist tag is left blank for some tracks, it makes it easy for me to see which tracks are arranged vs. original material.

I was thinking Shogo Sakai and now I’m putting him for sure. What about these three, though?
– Kirby & The Amazing Mirror (Skunk had a listing, but I couldn’t confirm)
– Star Fox: Assault (Same as above)
– Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
I put it in the comment whether it’s arranged or original, plus the original game where not already listed 😀
EDIT: For "Environmental Noises" I put the same thing I put for the original Pikmin music, but put a mark on it as "questionable". I just forgot to mention it here.
EDIT: Edited my original post… this place running mindbogglingly slow for anyone else?
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror: Hironobu Inagaki and Atsuyoshi Isemura

Starfox Assault: Yoshie Arakawa and Yoshinori Kanemoto
Source: www.wikipedia.com
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance: Naoko Mitome, Atsushi Yoshida, Kanako Teramae and Yuka Tsujiyoko
Source: www.gamefaqs.com
It’s all there, I just double checked.
These are fine and good for me, however, I really want to know who did the music for the Wii Shop Channel and Donkey Kong’s Barrel Blast. Gamefaqs doesn’t have anything on either, and nor does Wikipedia. If you have anything on these two, that’d be great.
I had something for Wii Shop from Skunk’s thread but I was unsure of her source. I used it anyway though.
PS: damn I hate it when there’s four composers on one game. No audio/music lead on any of those or anything?
PPS: I’ll find one of my friends who has Barrel Blast if he can get to the credits and get a name for me.

I’m getting
Music performance: Tokyo New City Orchestra, Toshio Mashima, Susumu Kazuhara
Mixing: Masanobu Murakami
for Star Fox Assault on Mobygames. Not getting anything for anything else. So I’m still a bit of a skeptic on some of these..
EDIT: Star Fox Assault: Tokyo New City Orchestra (Performer trumps arranger and composer methinks)
..not finding anything else.
Only because I’m obessively tagging other files in my music library. ;P
8000 songs is hard enough to keep the tags straight without about 1500 of it being from video games.
There use to be, but they were removed, most of them due to lack of download activity. Apparently if you host a file on FileFactory and it doesn’t get downloaded within a certain period of time the file gets deleted. Sorry to say individual song downloads are gone for good, if there is a song you want you’ll have to download the song pack instead.
Enjoy! =)

Aw, man… I just got around to checking this thread again, and the link you reposted says the file has been deleted. How long do they last?
I think I’ll just split the archive and throw it on RapidShare.
EDIT: Star Fox Assault: Tokyo New City Orchestra (Performer trumps arranger and composer methinks)
..not finding anything else.
Composer, or Arrangement Lead would trump who played it. Especially in the case of Super Smash Bros.
Also, if you could provide another for Giga Bowser, that’d be super.
(I’m also a little OCD on these things, and when I find something really amazing and outstanding, I at least try to get the most perfect lossless version I can)
If you want a loseless version of this, make it yourself. The .brstm files for this game are easy enough to find with a quick torrent search. From there it’s not much more than throwing them into Winamp and using the right plugins to convert the files into your preferred format.
I’m not even going to re-upload the files that have been removed from file servers, so if you want the music from this game check out the other threads that are available and still active.
You think so? What about things like "New Japan Philharmonic"’s rendition of Melee with "Smashing…Live"?
Same goes for labeling an album by Mozart. It’s still Mozart’s music, even though it’s being played by a different orchestra. So when labeling the tags for mp3’s in Mozart’s album, I label it as Mozart, not who played it.
I hope this makes sense.
What about Wii Shop Channel?
I was looking for that MGS sound.
Ya know, that sound they use when a soldier or somebody or something in a few cases spots you and the "!" appears above their head.
In other words I was looking for some sound fx from the Shadow Moses Island stage.
What about Wii Shop Channel?
I have an artist tag for that and I have no idea where it came from. "Kazumi Totaka" which appears to be the same tag I have for Wii Sports.. perhaps an assumption on Skunk’s part?
EDIT: GameFAQs (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/data/933035.html) has Barrel Blast!! Takashi Kouga is the artist tag. We’re pretty much done!
I think I’m going to use the tags that you just suggested considering it’s all we have at this point. Especially for the Wii Shop Channel.
I have Shogo Sakai for the Mii Channel, but I don’t think that’s right. Could you possibly check that one out?
Basically, do you already have the voices ripped? If so, do you know what page it is, or can I get another set of links. If not, is there a chance that you could get them ripped?
Thanks 🙂
All I need is part 19 🙁
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SCKQO7P4
here ya go!
Just doin what i can 😛
I have a hard copy of the whole entire OST to brawl. But unfortunately, my disk drive is broken and i can’t rip the files off of the disk and give them to you. I will try my best to give them to you though, sorry 🙁
A bonus to this is that all artist tags will be present (though a few may be off and I’ll list them in a txt file)
thanks for doing this :]
(Man, all this recent downtime is making me nervous.)
A bonus to this is that all artist tags will be present (though a few may be off and I’ll list them in a txt file)
PLEASE, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, UPLOAD IT EVEN IF THE FIRST POST CAN’T BE EDITED!
I, and it seems, many others, are unable to obtain part 19, (Nintendo) so this would be a big help to all of us. Plus, you apparently have EVERYTHING tagged instead of just the remixes, and that’s spiffy.
…Montresor!
I hate rapidshare 🙁 the most i would be able to do for is to upload it through megaupload which is mucho easier.
Here is a list with all the dead links
Filefont:1,3,5,8,10,11,12,13,15,16,17,18,19,20
Rapidshare:NONE
Just as dutchMasta said Rapidshare file size limit is 200MB so if you could upload 2 and 19 to Rapidshare would be great(no dead links from rapidshare btw).
*if i may give you a suggestion, try something else then Filefont ’cause they keep getting removed there*
Though a warning for tag-nazis, NOT EVERYTHING IS CORRECT. There’s a fair few guesses and some really ugly tags so just fix at your own discretion. 95% of it is right, at the very least.
EDIT: They will be RARs. Get WinRAR if you don’t have it yet.
All tracks will come with a mockup album art I made, and full credits to the rip and information will be included in the comments. I’ll also try to include lyrics in the lyrics section if someone can help me find which tracks have lyrics and the lyrics for them.

I’m going to take the opportunity to suggest IZArc (www.izarc.org) at this point. It’s free, and works just as well, but without a price. 🙂
Also, since the files have taken a nose dive into oblivion, and I’ve noticed people still requesting the reuploading of files, I shall direct those who wish to download the whole soundtrack in one bundle from another site: http://www.videogamescrapbook.com/super_smash_bros_brawl_ssbb/
It’s torrent-only at this point. So proceed if you know how to work torrents. Plus, I can guarantee the download will be much quicker since he was having bandwidth issues for just that one soundtrack (when he had it uploaded on his site).
I just need to add lyrics! I think VG Scrapbook has them on his so I’ll grab the ones with lyrics when I can remember which all do.
EDIT: VG Scrapbook’s extensive tag work makes mine look like crap and it makes me sad.
How many times does it loop? I’ll probably just stop what I’m doing if it’s one like this one because it’s not worth it.
EDIT2: Yup, my work is completely useless. Oh well! Can people seed this torrent when they get it, at least?
:naughty: just a kind gesture to redirect dudes asking for PACK 19 at FileFactory
If so, could it please be reuploaded?
I know that there are many other Brawl music threads, but all of the music from this thread has been MUCH higher quality than the music in other threads.
Plus, having all of the other 21 parts, where the music loops only once, and then filling in the missing part 19 with music that loops twice and isn’t tagged very well just doesn’t work.
So if anyone has the Nintendo music, part 19, could they please reupload it?
Please…?
Once again, Thanks a lot!
**Dammit! Now I want A Kid Icarus Remake for the DS!
Do it Nintendo! God damn you if you don’t!
It’s VBR instead of 320kbps, so it takes up less space, and it loops once like the tracks Cyantre posted. I ended up downloading these instead of the ones hosted on Rapidshare/FileFactory. I don’t mean to disparage the effort Cyantre put into making these MP3s, but if people are after consistency, this is probably their best bet at this point.
Note: I ripped it and cant convert this shit…. halp
