|Haze| – Soundtrack Excerpts

Hi everyone!

I’ve done far more benefiting than contributing when it comes to this community, so I figured I would start remedying the situation a bit. This thread is something of a response to one in the Requests section where a number of members expressed a desire to get their hands on a soundtrack for Haze. I don’t own a PS3 so I can’t rip the music or even play the game, but I love the composers who worked on it.

Cris Velasco (one of the composers, very talented fellow) graciously released three tracks for public enjoyment on his personal website (www.monarchaudio.com); however, they were embedded and therefore not very portable. I decided to make myself useful while we wait for a more complete release of the music by making these three tracks a little more accessible.

To that end, I give you the selections from Cris’ site, in fully-tagged Mp3 format at a crisp 320kbps bitrate for your enjoyment. 🙂 I even made a quick excuse for album art for it for the sake of completion.

I did some more looking around in Sonic Mayhem’s website, and found some more Haze tuneage. A half-dozen tracks can be found herein (http://www.sonicmayhem.com/music.html); as with the Prototype music, folks using IE can let them all play out, then copy from their temporary files directory.

I’ve seen fit to send Mr. Dikiciyan an email enquiring not only of the current state of the Prototype OST project, but whether similar thought has been or is being given to treating Haze’s music assets similarly.

Nice, good luck. He already said to me that there wasn’t going to be an official release, and that there is nowhere to download the songs, I did not use such a direct approach, I wish you the best of luck, I want this soundtrack very badly.
