Screw it. I did some research and find a replacement without vocals in same quality (plus shaved off two seconds of silence in the end)

Track 2 of the promo version, titled ‘Sunshine’, is the exact same track without the vocals. 😉
I got that one, too! It was the first one I found, then I got two more. Now I have to sort through all three and decide which one is the best and which I want to burn to CD. :-/
In general, I don’t wanna keep duplicate files so I download all versions I can find, I compare them and keep what’s necessary. That being said, and for anyone confused, the dvdrip with sfx (the fan rip that is mentioned here) that once was the only version available, is now obsolete. The first album mentioned here, which is the official score, contains all the tracks needed. Additionally, the promo/expanded score by John Murphy, contains these 5 tracks that either cannot be found in the ost, or are different versions.

All the other tracks of the promo are one way or the other integrated into the official score.
