Request (mostly) JRPG music and I’ll upload it.

✓ Contains arrange tracks in addition to music directly from the game
★ Gamerip as opposed to a CD release
✱ Main release is a CD release, but I’ve added in gamerips of tracks that weren’t on the CD or were in another version of the game
☠ These gamerips don’t have proper track titles because they are direct sound data extractions and I haven’t played the game
❐ Set that contains multiple games

NOTICE: If archives you’ve downloaded from Mediafire have corrupt tracks, try this first (thanks to Jessie for the instructions)

After you try extracting the music and you get any corrupted message, this is what to do, using winrar.

Open the rar archive instead of extracting it and then go to tools, select repair archive from the list, then select where you want the repaired archive to be saved (you don’t really have to do this) and press ok . It’ll take a little while to repair, depending on the filesize, but it’ll say when it’s done. Once the recovery is finished it’ll give you another rar archive with the same name as the original rar archive, but with fixed at the beginning. Extract this archive and the music should all extract fine.

I know this is a pain, but it’s not hard to do and saves me having to upload missing tracks for these and saves you having to download them again.

Hey, RPG Advocate. I’d like to request Arc Rise Fantasia, but only if you’re able to upload the whole thing in one big rar or zip file (there was a version before that was split into 5 or 6 parts, and I don’t want to ask you to upload all of those files). Megaupload has a really high limit for file size, so perhaps you could use that site.

WA1 Complete, FF4AY, and Arc Rise Fantasia are all uploaded. Please see the first post for links.

I hate multi-part downloads too, so I intend to use Mediafire for downloads less than 200 MB and Megaupload for downloads greater than 200 MB. They have the best policies for free users and will limit the number of multi-part downloads.

I’ve also added a couple albums I missed and added info about what the sets contain.

I haven’t added anything to CC. You’re probably seeing the ✱ next to CT. For that one, the main source is the SNES CT soundtrack released on CD, but the DS version has four tracks not included on that CD, so I put gamerips of those tracks in with it.

The Estopolis set should include I, II, and III (III was the GBA game).

I would like to request SaGa Frontier 2 (I lost that OST) and Mystic Ark (the battle theme was good, but never had it and I always keep forgetting to search for it).

There are actually two "Estpolis Biography" CD sets, PCCB-00170 (http://www.squareenixmusic.com/albums/e/estpolisbiography2.shtml) and SCDC-00486-9 (http://www.squareenixmusic.com/albums/e/estpolisbiography.shtml). The first contains music from Estpolis 1 and 2 only (the one I have) and the second contains music from all four Espolis games. I’ll have to find a download of the newer one.

All the battle themes from Mystic Ark are great. I just finished the fan translation (http://www.dynamic-designs.us/mysticark.shtml) of that a couple weeks ago.

I’ll fill your requests soon, probably in the next couple of days.

Ah ok, I have ‘SCDC 00486-9’. I didn’t know there was another one. I only remember 3 games, and that’s how many Lufia’s there are. The ‘fourth’ is coming on the DS.

I forgot how far I was in Mystic Ark. I lost the save when my computer crashed.

I uploaded the DS gamerip and KRR’s rip of Heracles 4 with fixed names and tags. It’s kind of annoying that they make you download each song individually and have names like "herc-01".

Finished. Note that this is a direct extraction of the DS sound files, with their characteristic weird names. I haven’t played the game, so assigning them meaningful names is impossible for me. If anyone has a tracklist, I would appreciate it.

The LA2 soundtrack is the two-disc soundtrack released in Japan. The sound is enhanced over the DS sound source. If you’re looking for a straight gamerip, I think the "Official DS music thread" might have one.

So it is… but I think the bonus bosses from FFs 3-6 (and their accompanying battle music arrangements) were only in the PSP remake, so that music is missing.

I’m having no trouble with either of these tracks. I can listen to them all the way through and edit the tags just fine. What problem are you having exactly?

While FFS was down, I uploaded a whole bunch of new albums. It’s getting to the point where most of my collection is now up.

This is a bit obscure, but I’m wondering if there is a soundtrack out there for Ephemeral Fantasia (PS2). I found a recording a while ago but it had sound effects over the music. 🙁

I’ve learned that Mediafire seems to like corrupting archives. I’m not sure if it’s during the upload or download.

Edit: Jessie has instructions for fixing archives in his thread. Please try using them (see first post).

Here’s what Megaupload has to say about the issue:

It is possible that someone else is already downloading from your IP address or has exceeded your newly assigned IP’s download quota in a previous session.

There are three ways to work around this issue:
You can try a different port. Some ISPs enforce proxy use only for connections to port 80. We offer two alternate ports (800 and 1723) that you may try. This will never work if your ISP assigns private (10.*, 172.16- 31.*, 192.168.*) IP addresses or uses NAT.

You can ask your ISP to assign you a dedicated public IP address or switch to a different ISP.

You can buy a premium account, which relieves you of all limitations and allows for unlimited parallel and batch downloads.
