If anyone wants to go in and try to adjust the volume on things, then by all means have at it. The source audio, obviously, was not ideal. You will hear an occasional pop or quick skip. Overall, it is highly listenable.

And no, the files are not lossless.
This is what music is about; not commercialism, not snobbery, not exclusionism – it’s about people gathering together, working as the most wonderfully enormous team, and playing music they love. Who cares if they’re crap – they’re honest and the comraderie and humanity in these performances, in my opinion anyway, complete excuses their technical failings.
Thank you so much. This is truly what it’s all about.
[Edit: The Afrika medley… Those guys must be absolutely off their heads to attempt playing something as horrendously complicated as that… and yet they manage it… Amazing…]
Still, they were worth hearing, and the other stuff was fun too.
Cheers again. ๐
That sounds a bit harsh, but I still appreciate the upload and enjoyed parts of this. Thanks!
pls don’t skim over this website……
This is wonderful!!! I feel this is a huge step-up in recognition in VGM.
It turns into people like this, ordinary people, gathering up into large groups like this, to play the music they truly love! Instead of the rap songs or rock songs—NO—Video Game Music!
This brings joy to my heart!
EDIT*** Tangotreats pretty much sums up my feelings.
Well, I don’t think so–> Thread 65742 ๐
[EDIT]
…and now I’m kinda torn, ’cause I listened to few tracks from VGO;). But I think I prefer GSO.
The Afrika medley… Those guys must be absolutely off their heads to attempt playing something as horrendously complicated as that… and yet they manage it… Amazing…
Indeed, even thinking of performing it is a sick idea;).
great stuff.
Thanks a million in advance.
Could you re-up ?
Thanks
I second this ๐

I am a bit disappointed by the one that was recorded here. The dynamic was much worser than the 5/8 concert and there were no additional singer (for Myst for example), and so on.
It’s still listen able, but the performance overall was a bit unbalanced. I recommend people to watch the (youtube) videos provided by "VGO" and "ihungerproductions", since they have a better sound quality overall, than the source provided by the live stream (it’s like the mic was placed only at one side). ^^;
But it provides more songs, and I’m in no way a critic, so enjoy it anyway.
Thanks!
