And no you don’t need new jobs to do the viking quest. You get your new set of jobs later in the game….
You should just have one white mage and three black mages, and have the white mage shrink your party. It’s useless having any fighters when you’re little.
heres my party
Luneth: monk Lv.15 no weapons total 60 armor: headband, kenpo gi, mythril gloves total 31 Hp 282
Ingus: Warrior Lv.15 serpent sorwd, viking axe total 58 armor: shell helm shell armor bronze bracers total 25 Hp 279
Arc: red mage lv.15 dual serpent sorwds total 50 armor L. cap shell armor mythril bracers total 21 Hp 279
Refia: black mage lv. 14 killer bow, holy arrows total 34 armor L.cap Mage robe mythril bracers total 16!!!! Hp 248
L. cap = leather cap
As for your classes…well, I never did use a red mage, but I guess it might be useful…and as for the monk, good choice! The monk’s attack power is double the level of the character plus double the job level when no weapons are equipped, so it can potentially become job with the highest attack power, if you keep it up.
In the end, except for the monk, you will probably be best off just by changing classes to the ones you get from the last crystal. Remember that when you set up your classes – it’s not for the long term, so don’t sweat.
