No matter, I’ve already seen the cover art for both the European PAL and US NTSC versions of FF Origins and they’re not bad. Both use Yoshitaka Amano’s original artwork from the old NES games (circa 1986/87) – the PAL version (out already in Europe, with Australia getting it today) has FFI’s Fighter with Princess Sara in the background, and the US version (out in April), has Frionel from FFII, along with the ridiculous branding ‘Special Collector’s Edition’ (blech).
Now all we need is for FFIII to be released either on the Wonderswan (as was originally planned), or the GBA (as has been rumoured), and then eventually, we may get it too on the PSX!
