Cloud and Tifa

yeah i was wondering like at the end of FF7 did Cloud and Tifa ever get togather?

Well dude, it’s not really said…whether the guys stick together or go their ways after saving the Planet. All we know is that awesome Red XIII outlived everyone. Lol.

I had already worked out that Red XIII would out live everyone, because of his tribe. But it would of been cool to see what happened to the other characters.

I suppose this is what fan-fictions are for, hm?

I got really confused about this when i got Ergheiz. I’d always thought that Tifa and Cloud got together, but (possible Ergheiz Spoiler)

it appears that Cloud ended up with Yuffie, and Tifa with Vincent. That (sort of) explains why to get Yuffie and Vincent you have to complete the game (Ergheiz) with Cloud and Tifa respectively.

I don’t disrespect your theory, but it was a fighting game. It’s only logic that in order to get secret FF7 characters, you have to beat it with other FF7 characters. I believe that the character you get by who you beat it with, is quite a random selection Square Soft did. ::Shrugs::

So Ehrgeiz really doesn’t relate to anything much other than the characters. Not the story or anything.

I’m a Cloud & Tifa fan, of course Cloud & Tifa got together! At the end of disc 2, they fall asleep next to eachother(AAAWWWWW HOW CUTE! Lucky girl!!) Aerith died, so Cloud & Tifa most likely got together cause’ he knew she was all he had left! When they were in the lifestream he even admited she’s been good to him!

Hmm…Cloud and Tifa never got together. At the end of FF7, it just left a cliffhanger. Of course, I think some of us would like to see who the couple of FF7 were…however we feel it should be.
TifaGirl… I’m not so sure about the part with Cloud and Tifa sleeping next to each other..more exactly…Cloud was just lending his shoulder for Tifa to rest…and when it was almost daylight…It sure looks like he wanted to leave but was considerate of Tifa’s feelings to let her rest a little bit more…That’s what I think… So don’t get mad at me.
Plus, just because Aeris died doesn’t mean that, "she’s dead so its Tifa for Cloud." Its really just a cliffhanger without an explainable ending…(like in FF8 or FF9..we all know who the couples were….) :angel: And Tifa did admit somewhere in the game that she wanted Cloud to stay close to her but I think its only because her guy-friends decided to move on with their lives..just like Cloud did. He did seem cold toward her in the beginning but open up ( a little ) after Aeris died and went back to his spunky cool can-do attitude. But I like how Tifa matures at the end of the game when she realize that Cloud’s heart was spoken for.
I think Aeris is really alive since they show her again at the end of disk 3. And sure enough, it looks like the true couple to FF7 is Cloud and Aeris. Now, C/T fans, don’t get mad and say I’m whack or whateva and starts yaking at me because I’m an C/A fan…its all in the games and has been pointed out that Cloud and Aeris were the true couple of FFVII.
Cloud came to terms with his feelings for Aeris at the end of FF7 wanting to go to the promised land so that he can be with her.
He appears in Final Fantasy Tactics after being warped into their world, looking for his lost love….He did met a flower girl that look exactly like Aeris in FFT and was taken by surprise that left him speechless.
Cloud also appears in Kingdom Hearts of where he was searching for someone as he tried to exploit the power of darkness but it backfired and he fell into the darkness and couldn’t find his light. As Sora in KH says:
You’ll find it. I’m searching to.
Cloud:For your light? Don’t lose sight of it.
Meaning that they’re both looking for their love ones:)
So to me, the true couple of FF7 always has been Cloud and Aeris. I respect those opinions of C/T fans, even if those fans don’t like it or whateva…the truth is, I think Squaresoft wanted to show who the couples of FF7 were, knowing that the game left a cliffhanger at the end with Nanaki and his kids.:erm:

That’s your opinion and like I said, I respect that! I’ve heard however, in the Japanese version, Cloud’s much nicer to Tifa. Cloud was only cold around her because he was like that with everybody, well I’ll admit it, except Aerith, but you do have a choice on whom he can be nice to and whom he can be cold to. But Aerith is the default. Also in the Japanese version of the game, you can ressurect Aerith w/o the gameshark. I have heard it does change the story in the Japnese one. It was supposed to be that way in the American one too, but Squarsoft of America told them to hurry up with the game, so they never got to finish the story to ressurect Aerith. So your probably right about Aerith and Cloud being the true couple! I just prefere Tifa & Cloud together because they’re both fighters and they both have a thing where they have a hard time opening up. I always liked Aerith, I just think she belongs to Zack. Don’t worry, you have your opinions, and like I said, I have respect that your a fan of your favorite coupling. You have a way of expressing your thoughts positively and nicely! Oh yeah, you have positive thinking too! I notice you disagree with people very respectfully and nicely, thats very sweet of you, and Thank You for doing that! :angel: Oh yeah, Aerith is awsome!

Thanks for understanding. I would had like a better ending…but that’s what cliff hanger endings are for…I suppose. But I’m pretty sure the true couple are Cloud and Aeris, even the official artwork by Amano shows mostly Cloud and Aeris but I respect that your a C/T fan…and that’s cool with me too.
Oh! I had a question…I couldn’t PM or email you but on your other post…the part with the movie of Aeris’s parents…that’s the town where you could snowboard, right? I’ve never heard that you can see a movie of Aeris’s parents and was curious about that. I mean, I played the game over five times…(usually just going straight into the battle with Seph. instead of raising my chocobos…oh well…) but can you give me some insight into that…Just PM me or something….:angel:
