Kids with the Zanakand logo

I noticed something, in the game, you can see some kids with Zanakand Abes logo on they pants. But how in the world they know about it? In FF10 everybody that Tidus asked if they know about the Zanakand Abes, they thought he was fucked in the head. And they said that that team didn’t exist! I don’t understand can someone explain me?

Since Yuna is the high summoner her guardians are probably famous, too. Auron and Jecht were famous for being high summoner Braska’s guardians, so maybe it’s the same there. Or maybe they copyied Yuna’s symbol on her gunner’s top. I posted a reason why she has that on the Tidus and Jecht’s symbol thread in FFX forum here. Or perhaps, they heard about her love story with Tidus, and they wear it to show support to Yuna. Yu Yeon had this symbol, too, cuz he was from Zanarkand.

Yeah maybe, I don’t see any other explanation so it surely is that..or maybe an error from Square-Enix lol.

Actually, they do know what the Zanarkand Abes are, but that was from a long time ago. Wakka thought Tidus was messed up in the head because he couldn’t be in a team from a thousand years ago.

Well, when Wakka heard Tidus say Zanarkand Abes, he later said, "Well if there ever was a team like that….". So, that proves that they hadn’t heard of a team like that.

Mmm, I don’t mean to be unkind or anything, but what that person said was wrong anyways. They didn’t know about that team as I said in one of my previous posts.

I recall seeing those kids in the beginning of Final Fantasy X, when Tidus is leaving his house to go to the Game between the Abes from A- East and the Duggels from C-South. he is being pesterred by fans asking for his autograph which is where you give him his name. Those were the same kids. also I noticed at the Sphere Break tournament in Luca in X2, Rin is shown with several girls in purple dresses (big pimpin!!!) anyways the same girl is seen at the same Autograph seen in Zanarkand, if I recall correctly, before the game and before Sin attacked, it was either her or her friend in the pink that asked him on a date if you talked to her enough times… My guess is that the charecter designers got lazy when they set up characters in Luca.

Ah! Oh, ok! Hehe, my apologies ^_^! In the Japanese game, it’s said differently. Well, if that team were known about (at least the name) if they thought they were soft, then they probably wouldn’t want to where that symbol. Maybe Wakka meant that there could have been a team like that, but it was never truly explained as "the facts". Maybe the symbol stayed because Sin was Jecht, and the people her created the dream Zanarkand knew about the team and all that so they kept the sign around as a holly marking or something….I dunno really lol. Oh well, we have the situation cleared up mostly thanks to Agent0042.
