I would have to say the most touching moments were when Rinoa was lost in space on FF8, that FMV sequences I was full on the edge of my seat. And on FF9 when the petrified forest petrified…ahh I forget his name with the forest when trying to escape…that was pretty unexpected.
SPOILERS BEWARE…
FF9 when the petrified forest petrified…ahh I forget his name with the forest when trying to escape…that was pretty unexpected.
yeah that was sad too his name started with a B im pretty sure right?
I think the sadest ( or sort of sad part) was when Kuja destroyed Terra, I mean come one, those drones couldn’t even feel emotions, they deserved to live and become aware.
The ending of FF8 pretty much was sad, seeing Squall finally releazing that he could love and such and then being lost in time and alone, and then seeing a feather spoke to me in a way no other FF scne spoke to me. Normally I dun care about sadness in games though.
Ya know, I never actually saw the ending of 8, because by that time FF9 came out and I got addicted to it, I sort of lost interest in 8, maybe I should start playing it again, ya think?
ff8-screw that, dont care bout it much either
ff9- probably when alexandria gets destroyed by bahamut, or what is the invincible, cant remember
ff10- when all the men died at djose against the one sinspawn
Aeris’s death is also really sad. The fmv of her death was beautiful, accompanied by her beautiful theme.
Then there’s Squall and Rinoa. I like the part where Squall rushes in the lab and saves Rinoa, and the two share a big hug.
Laguna’s part in the ff8 ending is another. We start with a flashback of Laguna’s proposal to Raine. Then the scene shifts to Laguna visiting Raine’s grave…
That’s four of the greatest moments in final fantasy right there.
FF7: When Aeris died (it was sad the first time)
When Tifa and Cloud were in the lifestream (i cried with boredum)
and when Sephiroth destroyed Nibelheim and it showed Cloud killing him. (That was kinda kewl too)
FF8: Uhhhhhhh, hmmmmm, maybe a Laguna bit but that’s all.
FF9: Blank kicked ass, why’d he have to be petrified? Oh well, he comes back doesn’t he?
When the queen dies (sad first time)
FF7: Aeris’s death didn’t really upset me, mainly because my friend told me it would happen before i got that far… 😡 although I still think it is the most emotional part of the game… Cloud expresses his feelings, then Sephiroth just says he is a puppet and can’t feel emotions.
FF8: The ending. Squall is trying desperately to find Rinoa and get back to the present but he can’t get back until he finds Rinoa. He spends ages looking for her, then remembers he will find her at the flower fields where they made the promise earlier. They can then get back, and finally they kissed (I was waiting for that to happen throughout the whole game ;))
FF9: Also the ending. Everyone talked about Zidane and how he had such an effect on their lives, and what they thought of him. Garnet/Dagger seemed the most upset. I was surprised when he revealed himself at the end, I really did think he was dead… but they didn’t kiss! They should have…
ff8 ending somewhat or the scene when there in outer space
ff9 at the ending kinda
ff 10 when all those guys died and also i kinda understood the ending i think so it was really sad or at least i thought up the sad part in my head owell
I’d have to say saddest part from me is at the end of 10. When Yuna is laying face down after running through Tidus. She stands up and says "I love you." and he fades anyway. That was sad as it comes IMHO.
2. Rinoa being lost in space
3. Celes and Locke’s situation
4. Gau’s father not wanting Gau back
The end of FFX was also sad. Seeing all the Aeons having to do and then Yuna loses Tidus. Why do all FF games have to have sad parts o_O Guess it makes the storyline better.
Especially when Aeris died, as many of you know I really hated her, the closest for me being sad is probably………………………
The ending for FF8, though I think that ending is the best ending out of VI, VII, and IX.
FF7- Aeris
FF8 – The fact that Square released it in the Final Fantasy series.
FF9 – This was probably the most emotional game in that it had it’s humorous and sad parts. The saddest part – When Zidane talks to Kuja, his brother, the last time in the ending. Also when all the characters are sharing their memories at the end. Zidane is hilarious when he is hitting on Dagger/Garnet.
FF10 – don’t know yet.
I was nearly in tears :uh?:
I thought Aeris’s death was a little bit sad but not very emotional for me.
FF6 was sad, Locke’s past with Rachel, and the Phoenix thing. It was really touching.
Also after Kefka argues Celes is a traitor and when Locke and Celes met after that… And also the conversation between Terra and Leo was sad. Especially cause Leo died soon after that.
FF7- When Cait Sith sacrified. You can guess. Aeris’s death. I was sure she and Cloud would made it up together. I really hated Sephiroth after that. It’s saddest if you have Tifa and Barret in your party, my opinion. Their both reactions and comforts to Cloud are terrible to watch. Also the part when Bugenhagen died was sad
FF 8- when Rinoa goes to coma and Squall finally realises he has strong feelings for her. The scene was so full of emotions. And the whole scene when they were in space, and Squall jumped after her, and when they are in Ragnakok and Rinoa tells she’s a sorceress. (Am I only one who can imagine them having sex after that? That’s not a joke). The whole ending was touching too
FF9- When Black Waltz3 kills the black mages and Vivi looks sad. When Brahne died, it was terribly sad too The ending, when Garnet and Zidane say goodbye to each other The last conversation between two brothers When Zidane ‘died’.
****I could write a whole book of sad parts in FF games*** 🙁 😀
FF7: Its gotta be Aeris’s death, because Cloud was so sad, Aeris and Cloud were falling in love, it seems like Sephiroth took everything from Cloud, but since Aeris died, Cloud and Tifa fell in love, I wish the ending would have a little bit more detail? Did Aeris Come back in the end and did meteor go away.
FF8: Probably the outer space scene, and definetly an ending, WOW!!!! what an awesome ending.
FF9: With its humor and drama, the sadest part is where Queen Brahne died, and the Cinema where Garnet is at her grave, and the ending, I really thought Zidane died.
FF10: This was the best game ever, Probably when Tidus found out that Yuna would die if she summoned the final Aeon, and at the end, because Tidus sacrificed himself for Spira, and lost the love of his life Yuna, because he couldn’t take her to Zanarkand.
I could write a lot more….
