final fantasy punctuation.
Objection! (http://objection.mrdictionary.net/go.php?n=3720534)
That’s a rather broad question to ask, considering how the FF series has spread over numerous consoles and that it’s all down to the personal opinion of each person.
Besides, wasn’t there a similar thread like this lurking around?
Ask anyone, the answer will always vary. You should be asking yourself that question, not needlessly seeking the opinions of everyone else.
Also, there’s a whole section as Death’s Head pointed out, for FFXIII questions. If you search a bit, I’m certain you’ll spot it.
On the lower tier, I’d place FFX. Just not that good. It was lacking something….
But so far the best in story is 6 and 7.
The most important is the 6 cause its the first final fantasy and RPG that success in america (if not the world) and make square a big company. Personally also the first one i play and from that moment become an addict to RPG and a zombie of Final Fantasy series.
the worst is 8 and 12.
in 8 why leveling up if the enemy leveling with u.
in 12 the game play is bad. U set a order command and u just let them auto attack for the rest of the game. Where the fun in that. Also to kill a secret boss i leave my console on for 2 day straight (set order of command do the rest). no fun!!!

And please to forgive for bad engrish, i only learn it yesterday xD
Fanboy.
VI was good, but I have my reservations & complains about it.
I love VII, but it’s fanbase degrade the respect I have for the game.
IV on the other hand, I consider it as the most perfect FF, It doesn’t have any flaws at all in any aspect, but this doesn’t mean it’s the Best.
You’ll have to pick one of your own, IV, VI & VII I consider them as the best ones.
If we count Tactics on this bag, it would be the Best FF, but it doesn’t feel like an FF at all, same as XII.
But so far the best in story is 6 and 7.
I have my complains about VI storyline, but it is a great one though.

8 has a bad storyline & a broken battle system, but it’s still a fun game, I can honestly say that it’s the type of RPG to pick if you’ve got nothing to play, or if you don’t want to think while playing an RPG.
XII gameplay bad…
The gambit system is optional to use it or not π
Play it without gambit system & in active, I dare you, I double dare you, see if it isn’t fun.
You can program the gambits to your own comfortable way, you can let the game play itself if you want to.
It’s the best battle system for people who loves to grind the shit out of their Characters.
XII has the type of gameplay that let’s the player set his own bar of difficulty.
My answer, of course, is VI~
I don’t feel it as an FF, it’s my personal opinion.
I don’t feel Fallout 3 as Fallout Either. It feels more like a post-apocalyptic Elder Scrolls game.
I didn’t played XI & XIV yet, so I can’t say anything about those two.
To me they’re not. Its all money over acessibility. If I want to spend days grinding my job levels I’ll play V. At least S.N.E.S/PlaystationX don’t shut down if you play them for days on end. If you could play them offline, it’d be fine. But those are heathen games.:notfucking:
I really don’t mind that the mmos of the series are in the main lineage. I played XI for a little while, and I’ll play XIV for a little while. No big whoop.
And their problem is, neither one has adult Rydia in them. Yowzas. . . .
If I was in charge I would’ve called Final Fantasy XI "Final Fantasy Online", but you’re definitely exaggerating how big of a departure it is from other FF games.
also the best Final Fantasy game is VI.
Good choice π
Oh, don’t worry you’ll be seeing that soon. Actvision has proudly announced their plans to make a Call of Duty game for every existing genre.
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please, never give an answer like that again. I nearly died…

You only need to read the titles :p
Just to traumatize you even more. Although I’m not sure why you would be. Activision wants money. If they release 10 CoD games annually for many different genres they’d get more money.
Another reason some people complain about FFXI (and inevitably FFXIV) is the fact that you have to pay for the game at the store, then pay a subscription fee for it.
Minor reason imo, as FFXI is a good game. Has elements from the FF series in it (chocobo’s, moogles, job system even monsters from the previous games in it) and does have a good story (multiple stories if you take into account the expansions as well as the Nation storylines). True it does make you hate level grinding even more, but then SE based the combat system off of EverQuest, more or less making you join Experience Parties to get XP. FFXIV, it seems, has taken a leaf out of World of Warcraft’s book, allowing you to get XP far easier than FFXI.
Still, to each their own.
Sorry to hear that.

Oh yes. My initial concern with the game was . . . ‘wait, I’m still paying for it even after I buy it?!’ And I think another turnoff for me was that I have a cousin who is (or at least used to be) as big into FF as I am, and told me ‘you gotta hook up all this extra stuff to play it, and it takes forever to load’. I knew nothing about it, and I just tossed it aside as being something I’d never play. WoW’s changed my mind on MMOs as well; at first I didn’t realize its story elements, but Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King (its expansions) have broadened it and made it even better. Considering it’s been so long since FFXI’s release and I’ve missed so much, I’ll have a ton to get caught up on but it’s gonna be great!
I’m losing hope….
You gotta be kidding right~?
Does that add clarity?
But at least it isn’t as bad as L2.
I’m still interested on XI & XIV though.
but the 13 it lacks all the roots of the original ff so in my opinion if you really want to know a fantasy of this actual consoles, try Lost oddisey, at xbox 360, that game is really a FF, cus it was made by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the former father of the FF

I’d advise you actually do some research to back up that statement. Or edit your post.
I’d say IX.
I’d say IX.
FF IX – imo, it had a great story, character set and soundtrack.
Marry me, both of you!
The stupidest, most retarded log in system in the gaming world.
I Just donated 75 bucks for their game and 1 month I hope they enjoy my donation to their worthless online gaming experience. The game is now on the way to the city dump.
Which is where I reckon ff14 will end up as well.
Also, DarkMaven, this is for posting what you think is the best Final Fantasy to Date, not what you think is the worst.
Just thought I would voice my concerns π

The best for me was Crisis Core closely followed by both FF VIII and FFIX. As for the real spin off games, my favourite would just have to be Dissidia.
At first I was like . . . π
9 not far behind.
Then I was like . . . π
