Never really cared about the graphic’s really…Although, they are very good ๐
The gameplay is strange for me…Never really cared for it…I look at it as a standard battle system. The game’s innovations is what make it interesting I guess.
Anyways, that what I think…
But then when I picked up FF9 a few years later… I realized just how powerful a storyline in a game can be. I found that I could think more deeply about the characters and philosophies of THIS game than I could others. And then I went back and played FF7. And I realized just what I missed out on.
Definitely the storyline. ๐
The graphics, gameplay, and music are all definitely part of it, too. Maybe just as much so for me. Heh-heh.
Meh, that’s just me.
But wait, there’s more!
It’s not just that Final Fantasy has such a deep and involving storyline – it’s the positive message that every game has. Too much media these days focuses on tragedy – but the stories everyone remembers, to quote Sam Gamgee, are
"Where the people had plenty of oppurtunities to turn back, Mr Frodo, but they didn’t. They’re the stories everyone remembers."
…the raw human emotion of Final Fantasy, the pureness of the love behind it, and the courage of saving the world…
That’s what draws me in.
I love the FF stories, better than the movies, the best FFs are the ones with the best stories.
Im also a graphics lover. I always anticipate the FMVs, i love em.
