worst gaming music ever!!!

In your opinion, what is the worst music you have ever heard in any game?

I really hate that FFX-2 song that’s in the intro;real Emotion.Ugh.

I WOULD move this to General Games, but given the poll I’ll move it to the FFX (or the FFX-2 forum if we have it… I really should know if we do or not… anyway, moved).

Are you serious? That music was great, I think. I loved listening to it. It’s got that kind of soft tone to it, that relaxes you…

Anyways, worst gaming music…hmm…how about

EDIT: Ok, found one. How about anything Pokemon related. Yeah, lame I know that!

There were a few tunes that were replaced from the original FFX that suited the areas better. People of Mt Gagazet, for instance, with the Ronso peoples.

However, real emotion was an awesome track that got the subject of the game across well. I don’t know the names of other tracks, but the battle theme was good and the boss battle was also good.

I actually am going to move this to general gaming, since the message asks what the worst music in any game is. And all the poll asks is what people think of the thread. Not sure what the logic was behind moving this to the FFX-2 forum.

By the way, as far as bad music goes, some of the prison music in FFVIII and the World Map theme for that game.

Worst game music for me is Real Emotion….made me feel sick it did. If you had been given the choice ‘Other World’ the intro music for Final Fantasy X…or Real Emotion, what would you choose?

I don’t like the balamb garden music in FF8 it just really got on my nerves

Honestly, I would choose Real Emotion. Yeah, it is pretty much the same sound and melody over and over again, but I would rather listen to that than "Other World". But, they are both great songs.

What a ridiculous sham of a game that was.

Any variation of the Parappa/UmJammer/whatever games.

And the music for Fantavision sucked, too.

And… the first Midnight Club game was so damn annoying with it’s music, I muted it.

Basically, anything that isn’t an RPG, excepting the Legacy of Kain games, has irritating music, IMO. And the RPGs with the worst music is the Final Fantasy X, X-2 series.

FF8 is close behind the FFX games in terms of music.

Hell, the original Aliens vs. Predator PC game had a better musical score than the more recent FF games. And that says a lot.

Yeah, Final Fantasy X-2 was awful for the most part and X had a better initial soundtrack than the final result. There were a bunch of early development songs so beautifully orchestrated, I couldn’t believe the result.

The WORST gaming music though….

Spice World, a joke of course. I’m guilty of being a spice girls fan. I’m actually going to give this to MK Trilogy because the music sounds so corny and low quality, especially in compared to the sega version which is even sadder.
