Just state the game you are most looking forward to, i’d pick the new gamecube Zelda -It looks awesome!
Oh, By the way, where was i ment to put the thread Sarah?
My most anticipated release of 2005 is going to be the PSP, though.
EDIT: I forgot Jade Empire was coming out soon!
EDIT: I know what game I want to say, but I forgot.
Aah April 1st, I can almost smell it !~ And it smells sexy. Like Ding :*

I love you Smokey.
I’m looking forward to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
Kingdom Hearts II is going to be all sorts of fantastic.
Just like the first one wasn’t!
Hey, any game that can convince my wife to play games (and hence, justify my spending on games and games-related consoles!) is good enough for me!
Smokey – hint for courting Courtney. Shortly after proposing (while she’s still pliable!) get her interested in at least one of your games. Preferably something easy to play with a good story. It will make your life a lot easier.
Seriously, they can begin to understand things like "I’ll be out to dinner in a second honey, I just have to find a save point!"
No surprises there I guess…

Or you could woo a lady who’s probably a bigger gamer then you are. 😉
Right now, Atelier Iris and Jade Empire have me pretty excited.

Wow, so the quality of games is now based on how well they can convince your wife to get into them.
Kingdom Hearts was utter shit.
The camera system was wonky, and the gummi ship was an embarrasment, but the rest did what it intended to do – create a virtual Disney movie. And I had heaps of fun playing it, too!
It was a jerky, hastily put together game. It felt like I was playing PS1 game.
It felt like I was playing PS1 game. What’s wrong with playing a PS1 game? Some of them are better than the pish released for the current generation.

Perosnally, I don’t know whats "in the gutter" about Zelda. I mean, yeah the games now aren’t as good as say A Link to the Past, i.e. Windwaker was shit, but Majora’s Mask, and Ocarina of Time are still brilliant, Four Swords Adventures looks to be a great multiplayer game (if you have/can afford a GC and four GBA’s and link-ups =\) and The Minish Cap looks great (IMO).
Regardless of what I think, the games still get great reviews 90% of the time, and I don’t just mean one magazine here, I mean – lots of unoffical online reviews that I have come across also. Sorry mrmonkeyman =\
Also, I think thats why so much hype is boiling about the game. Nintendo have released so little, apart form a couple of trailers, around 40 screenshots and scarce information and thats what is exciting people becuase what has been released, looks awesome (graphically, at least).
Anyway, amongst many others I am looking forward to this Zelda game, when I get Timesplitters 3 in a few days – and probably Final Fantasy XII – but no where near as much as I thought I would be.
Now…. i just feel empty.
But Majora’s Mask and Ocarina of Time were released several years ago. I would like to classify it as this:
Zelda series up to Ocarina of Time: Brilliant
Zelda series from Majora’s Mask to Minish Cap: Descent, possibly good.
The only reason I gave the second one a ‘good’ rating is because of Minish Cap, which has been the best Zelda game since Ocarina of Time.
Also, I’m highly anticpiating the release of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, which I will be getting when it comes out the 29th.
What’s wrong with playing a PS1 game? Some of them are better than the pish released for the current generation.
Fact of the matter is, a game shouldn’t look like it was on the PS1 when it’s on the PS2.

.
Yes, I agree with up to Ocarina of Time, and including.
But the Zelda games form Majora’s Mask to Minish Cap, you know, as you have played it, but would you not say that Four Swords is/looks brilliant also?

Four Swords was a pretty good game, probably the second best of that list.
In conclusion, what makes it boring, anyway?
I have never played it with other people, just myself. It seems like it would be worse if friends were involved.
none of that screen shattering crap
its gonna be sick

It’s the SNES/GBA game that I’ve beaten about 4 times already on different systems, just in a more linear and boringly pasted together fashion. It’s a joke.
Ahh right. So I am guessing that it is the same/very similar story to A Link to the Past then. Hmm, that is a bit disappointing.
Then again, A Link to the Past is the best, in my opinion.

I wasn’t completely sure there was a story really.
"Oh no there’re four guys. Let’s kill some shit okay doods."
*elements of sarcasm*
Well, I am not sure whether to get it. It’s either that, and a few other games, a DS or a PSP (whenever it comes out, not sure, but I can order one I s’pose). It’s my birthday in a few weeks, after my 16th birthday, my family stopped trying and just gave me money..which I have nothing against.
