mickey was in it….. HOLY FREGGEN CRAP!! i am freaking mind boggled! that was probbly munber 1. on the list of awsome things ive seen in the past like 2 years. if that comes out for PS3 ill totally shell out 600 bucks just for that game.

Yeah, you should learn from history: When a new generation of consoles come out, the old generation stops getting new games pretty quickly. :/

That doesn’t mean there aren’t tons of good old games on that console to play, of course (especially in the case of the PS2); it just means you shouldn’t expect new stuff.

I’m not sure why people are surprised by this. It’s happened with every console since the SNES came out.

Maybe the "I love april fools" line is the joke. Everyone else seems to enjoy the video.

If the video is real (which it really looks like it), i think the game looks really stupid. As a note, I did not enjoy the first two games a lot. I played them all the way through, but lost interest in the first one rather quickly (and only forced myself to finish). The second one was agony to play through, and I’m really not sure why I did.

This one looks so far gone from the original game that I’m not sure how they can even put the title on it.

At least you’ve got a fairly significant back catalogue of PS2 games; just because you’re not going to see any more ‘new’ games on it, doesn’t mean they’re going to stop producing the million-sellers.

Also, Tetsuya Nomura has said the trailer is of a ‘new Kingdom Hearts series’ – he stressed that it was not Kingdom Hearts III.

Tbh, I think it looks pretty shit. By the visuals and style, it looks like they’ll be aiming for the PS3 as a console – which is bad, because compared to the fucking-Matrix style keyblade fights, Mickey looked out of place 🙁

I’ve still got my fingers crossed for a young-Sora Kingdom Hearts III on the Wii.

Not too sure that I’m that struck with the look of it either – much as I like the first two games. Stil I may yet change my mind.

Dude it looks awesome. If they end up making it for the Xbox 360 though I’ll kill myself. There is no way I can aford to buy a Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. But they are coming out with a newer one that is affordable. Also who is the dude with the brown hair at the end. Is it Axel maybe…it kind of looks like him. Also I dont think that they will be making a next generation console soon. The graphics are all ready freaking awesome. What will they do next make it in 3D. The best the can get is to make it look like real people and after that video games will go out of style.

I didn’t know that he said it’s going to be a new series for KH, but I remember him saying in an interview some time ago that the new one is a prequel, so it will be before Sora’s time. And because it never really said how far back, I’m going to assume it’s not that far from Sora being born because Mickey is obviously there. Maybe that’s what they mean with "Birth by sleep…"?
