The brutes are increadiblly powerful, and they will flank you like in gears of War.
Oh man. . . dat new brute vehicle (Think Elite Ghost) takes some time getting used to but that thing owns!!!!!!
The Grunts also got a boost in inteligence now they actually swarm you when their are more than two of them running around. and the best thing iz dat when a Grunt realize’es dat he iz the last remaining he will bust out two Plasma granades and go out Kamakazi style. (f@#$%^& awsome to watch but extremlelly dangerous and lethal)
I didn’t get to play online at all but wat i played so far iz just godly.!!!!!!!
And Sarah this wouldn’t happen so often if you’d moved the Gaming Discussion higher in the forum list like I suggested, even Ndi agreed ๐
Did you expect something else?
yeah. . but it is considerably noticeable change.
the controller layout also changed due to the item pick-ups. and each gun (in dual-weilding) has to be reloaded on its own. which is not the best when encountering 10 Brutes.
What about Handker Chief?
i c wot u did thar!
Cortana dies too.
Sure it looks like he dies but they’ll make Halo 4 eventually.
Pointing out that pointing out cliches is cliche is cliche.
if that happened man good game i hope u r right
Like I said before, I should make a FPS:
-No real creativity needed
-Predictable storylines
-massive marketing campaigns
An instant Xbox fanboy classic!!!
It is called Sony Playstation 3
It is called Sony Playstation 3
Killzone 2 FTW!

Also,
Aside from the graphics, Warhawk seems to be awesome!

Warhawk is awesome. Very fun to play.
Edit: I’m reading Maxim right now and they have an article on Halo 3. They discuss some of the "new weapons" including the Spike Grenade – Resistance: Fall of Man already has that. What’s up with that?
After sitting down and playing through Heroic on 2-player co-op (straight through – 7.5 hours), I can say it is definitely the defining co-operative game. It was obviously designed from the ground up to be played as such, and you’re doing yourself a disservice unless you play it that way first.
As for the game, it’s 2am, so i’m not going to write a full review yet, but it was exactly what i expected. The campaign was the best in the series yet; I know a lot of purists will say ‘Halo 1 was the best!’, but there wasn’t one bit in Halo 3 where I wanted to give up out of frustration – not that it was easy, but I wanted to keep going. I almost didn’t get past Library in Halo 1.
Oh, and for fans, there is a mission in Halo 3 that is a huge nod to The Silent Cartographer, the fan favourite mission from Halo 1. It’s sweet. The story was good, but slightly long – it’s basically finishing the story of Halo 2, except they stretched it out. Adding some very strong nods towards Marathon – including a MAJOR one- was very nice. Presentation was cinematic and grandiose, and impressive.
Still, Halo 3 won’t receive any awards for graphical achievement – even though it should. Although the textures and detail are nowhere near the level of Gears of War, and the level design is nowhere near as immersive as BioShock, the sheer amount of things going on at one time is amazing. The amount of enemies – highly detailed, intelligent enemies – on screen at once can be overwhelming – especially when they are Brutes who are a bitch to take down one on one.
Oh, and ability to save the replay of your entire campaign to your console and rewatch it from any camera angle? And take screenshots? Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.
I’ll post tomorrow with more coherent thoughts, and multiplayer details – I intend to put Live through its paces.
My final thought for tonight: Awesome, but if you’re going to buy one 360 game this year, buy BioShock.
Same here
I got the limited edition myself – I couldn’t stretch the funds quite far enough to secure a Legendary. The Master Chief’s helmet makes for a nice 360 accessory, though ๐
I want a Human Head size one, so you can wear it, and strut around the street lol.
But if you must, there’s an "one size fits all!" spartan suit for about 4 grand on the internet if. And I must say, they nailed the look.
