Sacred will be de first one, I didn’t like the interface of the game, but I like the way magic is treated, There’s no Mana. =D
Also, I’m not sure Icewind Dale counts, but I remember reading somewhere that the Icewind Dale series was Bioware’s response to the Diablo games. Unlike Baldur’s Gate, they focus more on dungeon crawling and action over the plot (although the plot still manages to be interesting).
Another game which I considered a Diablo clone is Record of Lodoss War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Record_of_Lodoss_War:_Advent_of_Cardice) on the Sega Dreamcast. Once again, wasn’t a bad game but not really my thing I guess…
from the looks of it, it was a diablo clone set in a more medieval fantasy setting
i have no idea, i bought it for him used (but still complete) around 1999 or 2000
Torch Light (cheap on steam)
Titan’s Quest + Immortal Throne
Sacred + expansions
Sacred 2
Loki (game was like D2, kinda sucked though, nice graphics)
Dungeon Siege
Dungeon Siege 2
Too Human (XboX 360 exclusive, you either love it or hate it)
Fate
Dungeon Lords (uses a combo system for combat)
Darksonte (old)
Mythos (community is pretty much dead sadly)
Take your pick.
Wow, was that EVER a Diablo clone. I hadn’t even played Diablo for myself at that point, and I could still tell it was a clone (if not an outright rip-off) of it.
