GTA Vice City

Has anybody seen the new GTA to come out i think this new version might be the ultimate game to play i mean GTA III was amazing and know theres even more to have a swing at!! Does anyone know the release date??

I dont know anything of the release date though it will most likely be before 2003 (somewhere around X-Mas I guess). And calling it the best game ever, well I dunno. The game is good yes and Vice City adds alot of extra’s which surely be worth the purchase.

I heard it is going to be released next month. And its going to be a PS2 Exclusive so sorry those who were hoping for a PC release.

I think it’s coming out the 22nd of this month. It looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, so I’ll definitely pick it up.

Well to be honest, I was hoping on a pc release but since I got a PS2 that shouldnt be a problem anymor. Though I think it is strange that there will be no pc release, I mean the game didnt sell bad on pc did it?

I am not interested in this game… I mean I don’t enjoy a game that’s main colors are pink and purple. And your guy wears a Hawaian shirt. And you work for people who wear lotsa pink and purple. And the girls like to wear bikinis when they are 250+ pounds… That’s just my opinion.

Well, the PC version didn’t sell that much compared to the PS2 (Mostly because everyone already had the PS2 version and the differences between them isn’t VASTLY major… the skins being one of the big ones) and adding to the fact that Sony is paying Rockstar to keep GTA Sony Exclusive… but eh o_O

And I’m gonna pick up Vice City, hoping for more of the same thing.. because I’m still playing GTA3 after having it for almost a half a year.

I’m not sure on the release date, but so far I’ve heard 22nd, it seems quite improved from GTA3, the textures have very much inproved, there are more weapons, you can now shoot out tires, pilot helicopters and shoot out of them as well,motorcycles have been re-introduce, and are the only ground vehicle you can shoot strait forward with a gun.Some 40 weapons in total will be available,new ones including a knife,revovler,and katana,the targeting system is said to be improved as well. There are over 100 vehicles,over 50 places where you can go inside buildings,possibly over 140 missions,Vice city is twice as big as Liberty city and is exclusive to PS2 until 2004.Since the game is 80’s era, they now have real licensed music from that time,about 9 to 10 hours worth of different muisc including Blondie, The Cutting Crew, Grand Master Flash,Laura Branigan,Michael Jackson,A Flock of Seagulls,Hall and Oats,Kool and the Gang and Judas Priest.The main character now has a name(Tommy Vercetti),a background and will be voiced by Ray Liotta from The Good Fellas,and will be able to change into different clothes……Oh, and you can beat up cars with base ball bats now, it bugged me that you couldn’t do that in the first one.

Added: I should have said that, but yes, the 22nd is only for US as far as I know.

Umm, in Nova Scotia it is being released on the 29th of Ocober, so it is just about out. It is going to be friggin awsome with a whole shit load of weapons and all the stuff you will be able to do that wasn’t avalible before. I wonder how much it will be but then again wut ever it costs, i will lay down the money and buy it right away.

Some more stuff I found out,you will apparntly be able to use roller blades(?)…steal golf carts,some other weapons include, hammers ,chainsaws and most anything else you can pick up.

Now the police,the S.W.A.T. team acts like it should, moving in teams, rappeling down ropes from copters and smashing through windows in fully armed S.W.A.T. gear……just a small update….

99.9% of all new PS2 games are $50. I’m sure that this game is $50 in US dollars…

yeah this game look’s awsome GTA3 was wicked so this one should blow it out of the water! good thing i have a reserve cause i think this game will sell like hotcake’s.

o and btw there an estimated 4 million people pre-ordered GTA Vice Ctiy i nthe Uk so if u havent already pre-ordered i think it wood be a gd idea to do so now!!!!!
