Gears of War 2
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Then we have Devil May Cry 4 and Order of Ecclesia.
I feel tempted to try the Super Mario Galaxy OST but somehow I always end up getting something else, currently Pitfall -The Lost Expedition- OGS.
As a sidenote, they’re still making games for the PS2, and so they’re still soundtracks coming out for PS2 games.
Of the soundtracks I’ve heard, these are by far the most pleasing to my ear:
*Knights in the Nightmare Perfect Audio Collection Plus (DS)
*Planetary Pieces: Sonic World Adventure Original Soundtrack (PS3/360)
*Rockman 9: The Ambition’s Revival!! Original Soundtrack (PS3/360)
*Rockman 9 Arrange Soundtrack (PS3/360)
*Street Fighter IV Original Soundtrack (PS3/360)
Others that might be decent, but I haven’t heard:
*No More Heroes Original Sound Tracks (Wii)
*Tales of Knighthood: Sonic and the Black Knight Original Soundtrax (Wii)
*Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus Original Soundtrack (360/PSP/PS2)
But I hate SF4.
Mass Effect
Twilight Princess
Orange Box
Mega Man 9
Little Big Planet
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Big big big fan of Lost Odyssey (even if I didn’t play the game yet).
Twilight Princess
Little King’s Story (Shimomura !)
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Assassin’s Creed
Bioshock !
I think the intention was just for original soundtracks, but what did you have in mind?
I think both Glitch and I were under the impression that this discussion was about current gen games with official soundtrack releases. If it’s just the music from the game itself, official release or not, does that mean arranged soundtracks should be left out of the discussion?
well Hi !!!I’m From France What About You ( I know it’s Off Topic …lol ) So By The Way , Who Is Your Favorite Game Compositor ?? and What do You Think about Michiru yamane and Koji kondo ? Thanks In Advance !!
Regarding Michiru Yamane, I’m only familiar with her work in the Castlevania series and she’s definetely the best. I don’t know much about Koji Kondo except for most Mario Games, if I’m not mistaken, but I’m not much of a fan because Nintendo relies way too much on midi samples and rarely do orchestrated music.
As for my location… heh, I’d rather not tell.
