http://rapidshare.de/files/5414610/Echo_And_The_Bunnymen_-_The_Killing_Moon.mp3.html
(I’m experiencing a bit of browser difficulty so the song is Killing Moon by Echo and the Bunneymen)
here somewhat of an ambient thingy that would fit perfectly in a dramatic scenery of FF
i’m searching for the official release(cd,vinyl whatever) so if anyone knows..
http://rapidshare.de/files/5417116/Aphex_Twin_-_Stone_In_Focus.mp3.html

http://rapidshare.de/files/5417729/11_Shot_to_the_Chest.wma.html
letter kills – shot to the chest….dont be put off by the name
… the song kinda reminds me of the offspring, but more… messy. it makes me remember back when I used to actually watch mtv, years ago. 🙁 THIS IS CLEARLY NOT A GOOD THING. it could just totally be that it’s not my kind of music, though.
Leonard Cohen – Everybody Knows (http://rapidshare.de/files/5419297/117-leonard_cohen-everybody_knows-evighet.mp3.html)
Is that Leonard Cohen song in a movie or something? I feel like I’ve heard it before. It’s an alright song. It’s not my style, but I like his voice a lot.
This song is by a now-broken up Japanese punk band. If it sounds like it was recorded live, it’s because it was. But it was recorded in a studio. They always recorded everything live, studio or not.
It is proper to listen to it very loud. It can’t really be appreciated otherwise.
<a href=http://rapidshare.de/files/5424451/Teengenerate-Get_Action-08-Right_Now.mp3.html>Teengenerate – Right Now</a>
Sarah, i’d prefered your first selection instead the last one.. 😛
How about switch to electronic-funk.
Telefunka – Portatil (http://rapidshare.de/files/5425100/telefunka_-_portatil.mp3.html)

sugarcult – stuck in america
http://rapidshare.de/files/5425789/sugarcult_-_stuck_in_america.mp3.html
here’s mine, i just picked what i was listening to at the moment:
Velvet Acid Christ – Slut (http://rapidshare.de/files/5430773/1-08_Slut.mp3.html)
my favorite VAC song.
http://rapidshare.de/files/5431500/Transformers_Theme_song_-_Heavy_Metal_Version.mp3.html
Reminds me of being a kid….
also I like the music to it
Since I’m feeling like weirdness today, you get a Flipper song! Flipper are just wonderful. They are like a big ball of cheery happiness all rolled up and condensed into a… small ball of cheery happiness. I’m sure that listening to this song you will feel the desire to bounce and twist in happy happy fun! My favorite line is, "Ever look at a flower… AND EAT IT?" Make sure to turn up your bass if possible.
<a href=http://rapidshare.de/files/5438394/flipper_-_01_-_ever.mp3.html>Flipper – Ever</a>
also it sounded like HATE IT in the flower bit.
also to you dumb people that totally aren’t getting it: don’t post a new song unless you’ve commented on the previous one.
Hypnoskull – Oh My God, You Saved My Life ! (http://rapidshare.de/files/5440009/116-hypnoskull_-_oh_my_god_you_saved_my_life-fwyh.mp3.html)
quite slow ska but i like it.
http://rapidshare.de/files/5441091/Less_Than_Jake_-_The_Science_Of_Selling_Yourself_Short.mp3.html
whoever goes next: ignore my post and slash’s plx.
I’ve heard a bit of Less Than Jake, but never this song before. Sounds like a different singer from what I’ve heard. Either that, or he’s singing higher, and/or he’s had his voice touched up or something. In any case, I think his voice sounds lame. Ska can be fun, but I think this is prty crap. Dull. The chorus sounds like "lean on me" or something. Average lyrics too.
My song: Greg Macpherson – Numbers
http://rapidshare.de/files/5461613/Greg_MacPherson_-_numbers.mp3.html
Sparklehorse – Ghost of his Smile (http://rapidshare.de/files/5467958/Sparklehorse_-_Ghost_of_His_Smile.mp3.html)
Icon of Coil – Floorkiller (http://rapidshare.de/files/5474955/floorkiller.mp3.html)
goldfrapp – strict machine (http://rapidshare.de/files/5482631/goldfrapp_-_strict_machine.mp3.html)
Anyways, the song was decent. It wasn’t the sort of thing I really listen to, but it did not bother me! I think I will leave it on my playlist and see if it grows on me.
I’m a goofball for doing this, but:
Wesley Willis: Alanis Morrisette (http://rapidshare.de/files/5490610/wesley_willis_-_alanis_morrisette.mp3.html)
whoever goes next: ignore my post and slash’s plx.
sorry sarah wont happen again
ndi i have that song on my pc i love it
and the song i shall post is: sugarcult – bouncing off the walls
http://rapidshare.de/files/5491765/sugarcult_-_BOUNCING_OFF_THE_WALLs.mp3.html
Having listened to it a second time, I can also say I find the lyrics really irritating =/
ok, my contribution is this. (http://rapidshare.de/files/5495768/04_Mr._Tang.wma.html) Another from the acoustic guitar duo of Rodrigo and Gabriela.
also 1st to post something i’m not familiar with
An Pierl – Telephone ( http://rapidshare.de/files/5497499/02_Telephone.mp3.html)
piano tune with somewhat melancholic lyrics
My Bloody Valentine – Soon (http://rapidshare.de/files/5509572/My_Bloody_Valentine_-_Soon.mp3.html)
This song isn’t overly original, but it’s definately in my top 30 (yes, 30) songs.
New Radicals – You Get What You Give (http://rapidshare.de/files/5509711/New_Radicals_-_You_Get_What_You_Give.mp3.html)
The next song isn’t of the best quality as it was released on an EP that had very few copies. Also this one is mainly for Rapture, but anyone else can download it if they want to.
My Bloody Valentine – Sugar (http://rapidshare.de/files/5510160/My_Bloody_Valentine_-_Sugar.mp3.html)
Well, it’s really hard to upload files that I think everyone will like. My musical taste is narrow enough, but I think this ones pretty neat, I bit of a repetitive intro, but once it gets into it it’s a great song. And obviously, if you like Interpol – that helps.
Interpol – Say Hello to the Angels (http://rapidshare.de/files/5510669/Interpol_-_Say_Hello_to_the_Angels.mp3.html)
Also that background noise I think is when you get a bass near to a pretty decent bass cab and you turn it up to get some decent feedback, you get a helicopter sounding sound. I think that maybe it.
This one is another MBV one for Rapture, I think it’ll be the last one before someone else joins in this thread today.
My Bloody Valentine – Sometimes (http://rapidshare.de/files/5511032/My_Bloody_Valentine_-_Sometimes.mp3.html)
ok throwing up another one: Apoptygma Berzerk – Soultaker (http://rapidshare.de/files/5511531/11_Soultaker.mp3.html)
Anyway mine isn’t that obscure but I think it’s a great song.
http://rapidshare.de/files/5513342/01_Oh_What_a_World.wma.html
My Bloody Valentine – Soon (http://rapidshare.de/files/5509572/My_Bloody_Valentine_-_Soon.mp3.html)
wow i like that song the intro is cool but i found it abit boring towards the end, il post my song in abit im waiting for the upload
edit : here you go
the starting line – best of me

Lamb – gorecki is the GOODS. I heard that track a bout 3 years back on a clubbers guide to breaks cd and thought ‘this is what heaven sounds like’. so ethereal.
I’ve got a song for you, its called Daniel by Lior. I cant upload it at the moment but you can here it at Lior.com
Just click on listen, and then select the song called daniel. be sure to listen to the better quality one too.
ok throwing up another one: Apoptygma Berzerk – Soultaker (http://rapidshare.de/files/5511531/11_Soultaker.mp3.html)
I liked this song, but it was so long! I wouldn’t have minded it so much if there were more words, or if it changed a lot, but I wound up getting a little bit bored with it before it was over. I’d enjoy it more if it was shorter. It’d make for good background music, though.
I didn’t like that song at all, it was much too electronic for my liking and whatever little vocals there was, were much too quiet and easily drowned out.
Anyway mine isn’t that obscure but I think it’s a great song.
I’ve heard this before, but it’s a good song, so I don’t mind listening to it again. Rufus Wainwright is pretty great! I don’t like Want One as much as some of his other albums (Poses……*swoon*) but it’s still good stuff!
OKAY.
SLASH AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS MESSING UP THIS THREAD: YOU ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!

First of all thank you, I thought Rufus had only 2 albums, Want One and Two because my local CD shop is crappy. Secondly I agree that people should stop messing this thread up. This is one of my favourite threads and deserves to be stickied but only if people start taking it seriously.
Anyway I liked that song, it was kinda like an old Bond theme.
Muse-Sunburn (http://rapidshare.de/files/5572154/01_Sunburn.wma.html)
This song always makes me think of Meph because the word "tosspot" is in it (and because of all the English slang in it in general, but mostly tosspot.)
<a href=http://rapidshare.de/files/5577738/Snuff-6of1_HalfaDozenoftheotherDisc1-21-Arsehole.mp3.html>Snuff – Arsehole</a>

edit: hey, don’t be postin when I’m was postin. It makes me look like I dont know whats going on.
!
also: i will listen to your song and then type what i think
edit2: I was kind of iffy on it at first and then I heard the horns, and I thought, "man horns are awesome", so in conclusion fun song.
<a href=http://rapidshare.de/files/5577738/Snuff-6of1_HalfaDozenoftheotherDisc1-21-Arsehole.mp3.html>Snuff – Arsehole</a>
I had to listen to this with headphones on, and I feel like I didn’t get to hear the song like I should’ve because of it. It sounded a little bit muffled. 🙁
Anyways, it was fun! It sounded like good old drinking music to me. I couldn’t make out most of what they were saying, (wanker came in loud and clear, though) but drinking type music is generally that way.
. Decibully – Penny Look Down (http://rapidshare.de/files/5578308/decibully_-_Penny_Look_Down.mp3.html)
This song was pretty decent. It felt a little bit repetitive, but it was also short, so it never got to the point where it bothered me. It wasn’t OMG SUPER AWESOME, but I could see it getting stuck in my head after a few listens.
Here is the song that I almost went with last time!
The Casual Dots: Clocks (http://rapidshare.de/files/5578869/casual_dots_-_Clocks.mp3.html)
OK! So last time I went and saw Lightning Bolt, this killer Japanese band called Afrirampo opened up for them. I don’t think anybody in the crowd knew who the hell they were before they started playing but as soon as they did, everybody went nuts. They are a guitar/drums girl duo who dress up in sparkly red dresses and makeup and then play quirky bizarre experimental punk tunes while making funny noises. Live, they start a lot of their songs with weird chants in Japanese, or by making bird calls or something. At one point the drummer chick put a stuffed cat over her mouth and started meowing into the microphone, and sounded virtually identical to a real cat. In any case, they are primarily a live band, so this recording probably won’t be something that will have you listening again and again (unless you’re weird like me and you just like stuff that’s insanely repetitive), but hopefully it will give you an idea of how cool they are live and you will maybe go see them if they ever tour the US again! This is a live recording from when they played London fairly recently (hence their chanting about eating London at the beginning of the track!)
<a href=http://rapidshare.de/files/5583628/01.mp3.html>Afrirampo – Dododododo</a>
The Casual Dots: Clocks (http://rapidshare.de/files/5578869/casual_dots_-_Clocks.mp3.html)
It certainly isn’t bad but definately not my sort of thing. It sounded to me like a song designed solely to get stuck in my head and drive me insane. So I only listened to it once.
Afrirampo – Dododododo (http://rapidshare.de/files/5583628/01.mp3.html)Umm.. what? I’m not sure what this is supposed to be.
Well as long as we’re putting unusual stuff up:
Autechre – Parhelic Triangle ( http://rapidshare.de/files/5584078/05_Parhelic_Triangle.mp3.html)
well its Autechre so i kinda knew what to expect ^^
great tune tho i prefer more of their "epic" work(Gants Graf, Drane 2, Cap. IV)
it would work great as a backgroundtune for a movie/game
this next song is a mishmash from the acoustic/electronic absurdist Japanese band Satanicpornocultshop(god i loath that name)
its a cover of Lee Hazelwood & Nancy Sinatra’s – Some velvet morning
and freaks the hell out of me
from the second the vocals start.. theres a weird cracky lil melody in the background you can hardly hear and it tickles my throat making me thirsty every goddamn time i listen to it.
http://rapidshare.de/files/5586756/06_Some_Velvet_Morning.mp3.html
its chill tho and has by far the best english singin i’ve ever heard out of a Japanese woman

The original is one of my favorite songs, so I have a hard time not comparing it to that. It’s just not as good, or as haunting. Lee Hazelwood’s dark cowboy song mixed with Nancy Sinatra’s pretty happy song is just so great. It just sounded like an electronic group that happened to be sampling Nancy.
The japanese girl sings it exactly like Nancy Sinatra does. I did think they were just sampling her at first! Anyways, I guess I’ll post the original.
Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood: Some Velvet Morning (http://rapidshare.de/files/5590308/Nancy_Sinatra___Lee_Hazelwood_-_Some_Velvet_Morning.mp3.html)
this is not a very obscure song! just warning you: KMFDM – Brute ( http://rapidshare.de/files/5600004/09_Brute.mp3.html)
Kyuss-Thumb (http://rapidshare.de/files/5600381/01_Thumb.wma.html)
Mossy – Weird intro–nice guitar after–generally a nice sounding song, especially when the drums kick in–especially that symbal(sp?) fest–Pretty funky voice, I actually really like it!–simple but great bassline–hope you dont take offence to this, but the vocals remind me a little of Metallica (which I actually like).
My song, I’ve gone for good old Rush.
Rush – Subdivisions (http://rapidshare.de/files/5608132/Rush_-_Subdivisions.mp3.html)
Anyway that song reminded me of 15 to 1, At the intro I hated it but when the vocals kicked in it began to grow on me. And what do you know by the end of it, I was enjoying it.
Anyway, another Kyuss one here;
Kyuss-50 Million Year Trip(Downside Up) (http://rapidshare.de/files/5608819/04_50_Million_Year_Trip__Downside_Up_.wma.html)
More Rush:
Rush – Tears (http://rapidshare.de/files/5609852/05_-_Tears.mp3.html)
Anyway this is my favourite QOTSA song. I know it’s not that obscure and I’m sure some of you will probably have heard it but;
QOTSA-Hangin’ Tree (http://rapidshare.de/files/5610415/07_Hangin__Tree.wma.html)
Rush – Tears (http://rapidshare.de/files/5609852/05_-_Tears.mp3.html)
Thought it was pretty boring, I’m afraid. It just doesn’t move, which isn’t to say I don’t like anything that isn’t fast, I like lots of things that are slow and mellow. This song, I just don’t feel like there’s anything happening in it. It’s like mush. =/
EDIT: CRAP, YOU. YOU’RE TOO FAST. Okay I will comment on Mossy’s song as soon as I have downloaded it.
QOTSA-Hangin’ Tree (http://rapidshare.de/files/5610415/07_Hangin__Tree.wma.html)
I’m not huge on QOTSA but I find I can get into some of their material. This song is alright. I kind of wish they would turn that lead riff into chords at some point, add some more thickness and power to the song. But it is an interesting tune. Good backup vocals. I doubt I’d come back and listen to it frequently but I can say I enjoyed it.
OKAY! Riverdales song! A post-Screeching Weasel project that existed primarily in the mid-90s and then stopped so Screeching Weasel could start again and then started again when Screeching Weasel stopped again and then promptly stopped so Screeching Weasel could pretend to start again but not actually do anything! Anyway, they do pretty heavily Ramones-based stuff, but more power-popped out. When Ben Weasel was first discussing the band, he described it as "a golden oldies band with a Ramones twist." I think what the band actually became deviated pretty significantly from that concept, though. They are basically centered around heavily rhythmic, melodic guitar fury, so turn the volume up loud.

I heard it by chance on a buffy episode and dl it. I liked the style and dl some more.
It has got a good beat and rythem 2 it. But also has some pretty good elements of rock in there 2
Ok my tune. I dont think many people will ahve heard of this.
For some reason the link fuked I will try and sort it

The Mars Volta-This Apparatus Must Be Unearthed (http://rapidshare.de/files/5868842/08_This_Apparatus_Must_Be_Unearthed.wma.html)
nice selection from slash, punks cover always reminds me the song "baby one more time" punk version… it’s totally a parody, very comic.
Here is my selection, the ending theme of Initial D 4th stage
blast my desire (http://rapidshare.de/files/5869796/initial_d_4th_stage_-_blast_my_desire.mp3.html)

Its Alcazar and the song is alcastar
http://rapidshare.de/files/5688704/Alcazar_-_Alcastar.mp3.html
Alcatar– didn’t much like the song, just not my type of music really. though the song was well done.
I’ll post mine in the morning, slow uploading for me
Tempest– Milligan’s Fancy (http://rapidshare.de/files/5926974/08_-_Session1_Track8.wav.html)
I like it cause its upbeat
Anyways this song is a song I liked a while bak then heard when I was out clubbing and I got bak in to it again.
http://rapidshare.de/files/5952253/BBE_-_Seven_Days_And_One_Week__Radio_Edit_.mp3.html
Anyway my selection. If you’re a QOTSA fan you’ve probably heard it, if not I doubt you would have. It’s off the Rated-R album and is a kind of slow melody. It’s sort of depressing but I usually have it on any playlists I make
QOTSA-Auto Pilot (http://rapidshare.de/files/5953126/04_Auto_Pilot.wma.html)
This next song is from a french band called la bouche

chill jazzy/breakbeat tune
I’ll try something a bit different than what i usually post. Away from the electronic and back to rock for once. =) This song has been stuck in my head for about a week now, love everything about it:
Tool – Opiate (http://rapidshare.de/files/6006664/06_Opiate.mp3.html)
So, heres pretty much one of the the most chilled out Mars Volta song there is, i.e. slow vocals and guitars etc. see what you (guys) think of it :
The Mars Volta – The Widow (http://rapidshare.de/files/6006993/The_Mars_Volta_-_The_Widow.mp3.html)
the only time I’ve heard mars volta before this was when cassie sent one of the tracks to me. I think. but I could totally be confusing that with another random band that I tend to confuse with bands like the mars volta !
this song is actually less mellow than I was expecting. I was sort of anticipating the vox to be more passive, based on the original track I heard. it’s definitely not bad judging by the first time through. wouldn’t be surprised if it grew on me.
my majorly weird contribution:
Nitzer Ebb – Lightning Man (http://rapidshare.de/files/6007902/Nitzer_Ebb_-_Lightning_Man.mp3.html)
here’s mine another weird song =(: Girls Under Glass – Grey in Grey (http://rapidshare.de/files/6010329/Grey_in_Grey.mp3.html)
Anyways, since both your song and Sarah’s reminded me of 80s music, I’m putting this up:
Newcleus – Jam On it (http://ribaldyouth.com/mp3/Newcleus-JamOnIt.mp3)
If I know the tastes of Final Fantasy Shrine, I’m sure whoever listens to it will love it!
ok so here’s some lords of acid
Lords of Acid – Crablouse (http://rapidshare.de/files/6013725/04_Crablouse.mp3.html)
Anyways, I didn’t like the bad rapping in crablouse and the lyrics didn’t really help that, but the choral stuff was cool. I’d be interested in hearing something from them that focused more on neat vocal work.
Anyways, next up:
A song ashin has never heard on DDR (http://ribaldyouth.com/mp3/02%20.%93%ba%94V%8c%95%95%91.mp3)
a lords of acid song for rezo focuses more on the neat vocal work (http://rapidshare.de/files/6014103/Lords_Of_Acid_-_Pussy_Lp_Version.mp3.html)
Kamaal Khan – O Oh Jane Jana (http://ribaldyouth.com/mp3/Kamaal%20Khan%20-%20O%20Oh%20Jane%20Jana.mp3)
If I know the tastes of Final Fantasy Shrine, I’m sure whoever listens to it will love it!
that cracked me up good
Venetian Snares – Vida (http://rapidshare.de/files/6015979/04_Vida.mp3.html)
bit of an epic electronic tune that makes me yearn for a video that goes perfectly in sync with all the lil glitchy bleeps and noises i hear
Venetian Snares – Vida (http://rapidshare.de/files/6015979/04_Vida.mp3.html)
bit of an epic electronic tune that makes me yearn for a video that goes perfectly in sync with all the lil glitchy bleeps and noises i hear
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=86624
It’s not that specific song, but it is Venetian Snares, and it does hit every little glitchy beep. It’s fuckin awesome. Though I prefer this video by the same creator: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=51618
Oh.. and uh: Deep Thinkers – Kiss The Sky (http://www.planetbrad.com/mp3s/DeepThinkers-KissTheSky.mp3)
this song’s a bit weird and takes a lot of adjusting to. I’m guessing the person who downloads it probably won’t appreciate but I really hope they do ;-;; this is not the sort of song you should listen to passively while not listening to the lyrics, by the way.
Violent Femmes – Country Death Song (http://rapidshare.de/files/6021377/01-violent_femmes-country_death_song-pms.mp3.html)
My own choice is something much less interesting or thought provoking. It’s probably my favourite Flaming Lips song pre-Soft Bulletin though;
The Flaming Lips-She Don’t Use Jelly (http://rapidshare.de/files/6026149/04_She_Don_t_Use_Jelly.wma.html)
http://rapidshare.de/files/6026812/Howie_Day_-_Collide.mp3.html
see wat u think of that
For my own song, don’t be put off by the artist. This is a much mellower piece of work from them, you’ll ever like it or think it’s terribly dull and slow. I don’t think there’s much of a middle ground here.
Jimmy Eat World-Hear You Me (http://rapidshare.de/files/6027183/06_Hear_You_Me.wma.html)
See what you think of this one. This is a favorite of mine
http://rapidshare.de/files/6027819/Daft_Punk_Around_the_world.mp3.html
Another Flaming Lips one, this ones probably the best yet
The Flaming Lips-In the Morning of the Magicians (http://rapidshare.de/files/6028688/05_In_the_Morning_of_the_Magicians.wma.html)
Heres mine

not bad
love the ending
but amv’s are so limited most of the time
i was more fantasizing about it like the Gantz Graf video (http://forum.rap.de/spex/media/videos/autechrehi.mov) from Autechre(quality is kinda shit tho)
The amv did got me interested in the anime and i never heard that VS track before ^^
dev/null-symphonies_of_suckness (http://www.rhinoplex.org/devnull/tunes/devnull – symphonies_of_suckness.mp3)
starts out with a nice lil piano intro and then goes full blast to a breakcore fest engolfed with a bassline that made my thin singleglassed windows shake so damn hard one cracked.
first one to say it sucks gets a cookie! Q(‘.’Q)
hereeees mine
Pig – Toxico! (http://rapidshare.de/files/6054700/11__Toxico_.mp3.html)
lovely
George Michael – im never gonna dance again(drum and bass bootleg) (http://www.bearink.co.uk/downloads/hi/mix3v2.mp3)
ignore the silly first 30 sec intro tho
this is just an instrumental but I really like it. Pig – A Touch Of Upheaval (http://rapidshare.de/files/6093554/05-a_touch_of_upheaval-fwyh.mp3.html)
BGK stands for Balthasar Gerards Kommando. I have no idea what that means but I think it’s one of the coolest-sounding phrases ever.

My choice;
Iron & Wine-Sea and Rythym (http://rapidshare.de/files/5133490/The_OC_-_Iron___Wine_-_Sea_And_The_Rhythm_by_SKULLCRUSHER.mp3.html)
And I am sure no one has ever heard of this (http://rapidshare.de/files/6302974/Ome_Henk_-_de_apres_ski_hut_-_De_hele_bus_mot_pissen.mp3.html) song, except for the other lost Dutchies on this site.

Ging Nang Boyz – No Future No Cry (http://s35.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0CSM4ENEYIXMI1MG3RLXQASORJ)
j-punkrock
Neo I couldn get urs 2 work. But mossy I had heard urs before cause of the oc
Really? I really couldn’t have imagined that crap having any positives.
Anyway, my choice is off Interpol’s first album, Turn On the Bright Lights which I evantually got on Saturday. I ordered it at my local music shop because I don’t like buying stuff at HMV and somehow it took 3 months to arrive. Also on a side note, if you have heard and liked Antics you should get this, it’s pretty similar but still manages to be better.
Interpol-Obstacle 1 (http://rapidshare.de/files/6442496/02_Obstacle_1.wma.html)
I didn like the vocals. The tune behind it was ok though I guess
Brian and Delta- Almost here (http://rapidshare.de/files/6766661/Delta_Goodrem___Brian_McFadden_-_Almost_Here.mp3.html)
Nancy Sinatra – The Last of the Secret Agents (http://rapidshare.de/files/7259464/02_-_the_last_of_the_secret_agents.mp3.html)
Not one of Nancy’s best, but pretty entertaining. Immediately made me think AUSTIN POWERS.
This is The Gourds cover of Snoop Dogg’s Gin & Juice – Pretty hilarious.
http://rapidshare.de/files/7282305/soggy_bottom_boys_-_gin_and_juice.mp3.html
amazing how accurate it is
Squarepusher – Andrei (http://rapidshare.de/files/7289372/_04__Andrei_-_Squarepusher.mp3.html)
lil acoustic guitar thingy
totally different of his normal work
<a href=http://rapidshare.de/files/7295932/7-Peter_Brady.mp3.html>Screeching Weasel – Peter Brady</a>
Much to the suprise of everyone, i’m not going to post a Bob Dylan song. Since ‘Soon’ and ‘Sometimes’ have already been posted, I guess I’ll keep the Loveless tracklist going.
Only Shallow – My Bloody Valentine
http://rapidshare.de/files/7296805/My_Bloody_Valentine_-_Only_Shallow.mp3.html
I think TV on the Radio is a really good band, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen people here mention them, so I’m posting something by them.
TV on the Radio: Staring at the Sun (http://rapidshare.de/files/7419797/02_Staring_at_the_Sun.mp3.html)
I thought I should post a Portishead song here, but I don’t really want to put ‘Glory Box’ on here because I think everyone has heard it.
Anyway;
Portishead – It Could Be Sweet (http://rapidshare.de/files/7427761/04_-_Portishead_-_It_Could_Be_Sweet.mp3.html)
Well let’s see you if like this one Crystal Kay – Tears (http://rapidshare.de/files/7707865/Crystal_Kay_-_Tears.MP3.html)
Hear it everytime you feel lonely, feel guilty or feel sad
Guarantee you 🙂
It was kind of like a bad 80’s love song, only with parts in Japanese?
My song is from I local ska band that I <3 in all kinds of ways. I saw them on Halloween where they all dressed up as emo kids and that made this song even better.
http://rapidshare.de/files/7885142/smuggledoug.mp3.html
edit: I almost forgot, The band is Smuggle Doug and His Six Shooters and the song is called Emo Band
At, the music didn’t really appeal to me, but I thought the song got better as it went along. And I actually liked the little emo bit. ; ; I thought the singer had a really awesome voice though, but I didn’t really realize it was so awesome until I turned up the volume!
And it sounded like some of lyrics might have been neat, but it was hard to tell during the faster parts.
Posting this song because every so often I fall in love with it all over again, and tonight happened to be one of those nights!
Nerfherder: Nosering Girl (http://rapidshare.de/files/8072495/Nerf_Herder_-_Nose_Ring_Girl.mp3.html)
The song I chose is from the Donnie Darko soundtrack
Michael Andrews–Mad World
It’s a great song if you’re not in an uppity mood.
http://rapidshare.de/files/8075995/madworld.mp3.html
Momota Kayoko – Alive (http://rapidshare.de/files/6813048/Momota_Kayoko_-_Alive.mp3.html)
Btw, this is the Opening song of Shin Megaten: DDS Avatar Tuner 2 which is not included in the CD soundtrack.. you must buy the DVD version which is limited only to Japan… nice song btw ^^;; i’ll add another one tomorrow.. (maybe)
Crystal Kay ft. Dr. X – Hard To Say (http://rapidshare.de/files/8082424/Crystal_Kay_-_Hard_To_Say.MP3.html)
Taken from C.Kay album 2003.. ^^

http://rapidshare.de/files/8075995/madworld.mp3.html
Gary Jules sang the version of mad world on the donnie darko soundtrack. Micheal Andrews did the arrangement.
Spinnel. READ THE THREAD AND FOLLOW THE RULES. PLEASE.
plus the songs you are posting are not very good. ; ;
Anyways!
Tilly and the Wall: Fell Down the Stairs (http://rapidshare.de/files/8102682/Tilly_and_the_Wall_-_Fell_Down_the_Stairs.mp3.html)
Let’s make this thread awesome again!
I really enjoyed that song "Alive". Do you know what she is singing about?
Lunaretic: I don’t know either.. ^^;; sorry :p
Spinnel. READ THE THREAD AND FOLLOW THE RULES. PLEASE.
plus the songs you are posting are not very good. ; ;
Sarah, that Momota Kayoko – Alive is one of the DDS 2 Opening soundtrack, you might want to add it on the mp3s page… well basically this song is very rare -_- .. see how i help you?
<font size=5>EDIT: From now I am just going to delete any post that isn’t participating properly in the thread. Just read the first post, it’s REALLY not hard.</font>
I was gonna let somebody else do Ndi’s song since I’m already familiar with it, but the thread is falling down too far so I’ll have to just say: I love Tilly and the Wall, and that is one of my favorite of their songs! It is superb and I really love their vocalist and the fact that they have a tapdancer for purcussion and the fact that they make fun catchy songs.
Anyway. Here is a song: <a href=http://rapidshare.de/files/8076661/03_bleach_-_canary_teikoku_no_gyakushuu.mp3.html>Bleach: Canary Teikoku no Gyakushuu</a>. Bleach is really awesome, just be careful if you look them up because there is a shitty emo band called Bleach. The good Bleach usually goes by Bleach 03 in the west to avoid the confusion.
I probably would like it more it I understood japanese, although that might be the point.
Now for my song.
Instruments of destruction – NRG ( http://rapidshare.de/files/8318960/instrumentsofdest.mp3.html )
Heh heh this one is also from the transformers movie.
Some of you might not like this song. If you don’t like girl piano stuff I don’t recommend it. If you do like it, it is pretty neat, and I think the way she sings parts of it is really cute.
Regina Spektor: Daniel Cowman (http://rapidshare.de/files/8462423/Regina_Spektor_-_06_-_Daniel_Cowman.mp3.html)
My roommate initially thought that this Bjork (but quickily figured out it wasn’t), I would say as for girls on pianos I would prefer the Dresden Dolls’ Amanda Palmer.
I would like to contribute this song (http://kangarooalliance.com/wraith.html) (actually its a music video) by Of Montreal (http://www.ofmontreal.net/index3.html). They have even better songs on their Satanic Panic in the Attic album but this is just plain fun (sorry if this a bit outside ‘the rules’ T.K. I just to add a little love to the world).

Okay! I liked that song and it was pretty reminiscent the Shins. It’s extremely simplistic but I guess it’s exactly what the band was going for and I might download a few more songs by them, maybe. Oh and btw, I’m glad you posted the video rather than the song on it’s own as I’m certain that it would have lost a lot of appeal if it wasn’t for the video and it’s fun feel. However, it doesn’t so much sound like the Shins as it is the Shins. The video is near identical to the Chutes Too Narrow artwork, the singer’s voices are almost identical and they have the same style, but I still enjoyed the song.
As for my own song, it’s by Fingers-Cut, Megamachine, an acoustic folk/punk band which I have recently started to listen to, thanks to the influence of Pat (Not T.K. Sunglasses). I wasn’t sure what song I wanted to post as pretty much all the songs are amazing but I think that this one is my favourite so:
Release Me – Fingers-Cut, Megamachine (http://rapidshare.de/files/8668880/11_-_Release_Me.mp3.html)
On my side is a korean song by 1Tym (previously in YG Family along with 17 other members). Its korean RnB, personally, my gf showed me this song and its really good.
1Tym – One Love (http://rapidshare.com/files/4563688/1Tym_-_One_Love.mp3)
that was different
it got better at about 50 seconds
mine is Themselves – live trap (live on john peel) (http://rapidshare.com/files/4622429/03_themselves_-_Livetrap__Live_on_John_Peel_BBC_.mp3)
lyrics found here (http://anticonlyrics.net/viewLyrics.php?id=67&artist=12)
Alright my song choice is one not many people will have heard of at all I dont think. September- Never Give It Up. (http://www.sendspace.com/file/mkkkrn)
download my track and comment
Now a special song.
It’s a metal song from my country, Hungary. They’re a very popular band, because all the songs, are famouse pop songs, but they make it in metal. It’s a very good idea, and a lot os people like’em.
Here’s a metaled rock song (original song made by Moby Dick):
Cool Head Clan feat. Jaya Hari Das: Ugass kutya*!!! from the album: Bálnavadászok** tribute album
http://rapidshare.com/files/7486461/Cool_Head_Clan_feat._Jaya_Hari_Das_-_Ugass_kutya___.mp3.html

Let’s enjoy!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
I’ll upload a few popular hungarian music, if your people would listen them. 🙂
here’s a trip-hop song from archive, very relaxing, just listen to & enjoy :o)
http://rapidshare.com/files/8673559/07-archive-i_will_fade.mp3.html
I like trip-hop music, and it’s great too! Thanks for the song!
Now here’s a unique music:
A Senegal rap band!
I found this song in my mother’s world music CD collection, but I think it’s a great music from an olda band (they’re since 1994!!!) :
Daara J: Boomerang
http://rapidshare.com/files/8766723/Daara_J_-_Boomerang.mp3.html
ok so here’s some lords of acid
Lords of Acid – Crablouse (http://rapidshare.de/files/6013725/04_Crablouse.mp3.html)
Not one of thier best songs although the cd it was on I liked. Well, here my contribution. Therion – An Arrow From The Sun
Rate: 8/10
Here’s finally a track by Grace Jones. This song was a hit for her in Europe in 1980, and it’s very European.
Grace Jones – Pars [Long Version] (http://www.sendspace.com/file/lvzqpv)
Act Like That by Lee Carr (Track from Waist Deep OST. Don’t worry it ain’t rap. More like R&B).
http://www.sendspace.com/file/w6d1mm
I liked it. Kinda R&B with a little indie.
Here’s Lord of the Rhymes.
