But if you don’t already have them, I know the bunny shoes can be very handy. Perhaps if you get an item creation guide you could make yourself some sweet equipment and items. But really, in RPGs, the case is that nothing beats good old fashioned levelling.
I’m playing it right now but I haven’t finished it. I’m near the end though…maybe I could get back to you.

yes the same with me, i am at the end but this game is chalenging in all sorts of ways… I liked it because it was chalenging and you cloud change the story just by saying "yes" or "no".
You can pickpocket ONE pair from the guy in the bunny suit, near the bunny races, in Fun City. But save beforehand, have a nice high pickpocket level, magicians gloves etc.
THe other way is to keep at the Bunny Races in fun city and keep betting to win the Bunny shoes til you get enough of em. It takes a good while so find some good music or something…
:notgood:
It’s really too bad you can’t figure it out…
I beat the game, It’s not that hard…

u guys u try it !
You could get the shoes in the Hidden D… but I doubt you would really survive.
the hidden dugeon owns for items and gear also levels
u guys u try it !
ok, where are they, i cant find them, i have looked everywhere and i cant find them.
Anyways, I actually finished it last night! Woo! I used Claude, Rena, Ashton and Precis all around Lvl 94 and totally owned the final boss. ๐ I say bring on the increased difficulty after doing the Cave of Trials. :p
So now, I’m doing the Cave of Trials. Just about to fight the boss on the first level. It’s all good.
Basically, you have to get to the final save point just before the End Boss, Indalecio (I think). Save there and then head aaaaaall the way back out of that place and back to the world map.
Head on over to Fun City and into the Fighting Arena thingy place. Move around the the back of the arena and look around. There should be a ‘mysterious looking man’ standing around. He will say something about taking you to see past memories. Say yes to him twice and BOOM you’re back on Expel.
Now, head out of the town and your blocky lookin Synard will be waiting there. Jump on him and head towards the desert island you couldnt reach before, in the lower west part of the map. Look around and you’ll see a cave on it. That is the Cave of Trials. ๐
Phew, so there you go. I hope I got that all right.
Only Level 94, Bigfoot? After going to the CoT a few times and beating the Survival Battle a few times, Claude was at Level 200-something and everyone else was at, like, Level 120-150. Even then, on the boss towards the bottom of the CoT, I still get killed even though I have the best armor and weapons.
But I’m kinda getting sick of this game now. Might play it some other time…but not any time soon.
Claude- LvL180
Rena- Lvl179
Celine- Lvl 169
Dias- Lvl 178
I have to say, Claude and Dias OWN with Mirror slice and Illusion, they gang banged Indelecio… but I went back after beating the cave of trials, didnt use celine, used a lvl 70 Opera for laughs, cuz I forgot the limiter was taken off… he whopped my ass, did a spell off the bat that did 9999 to everyone sept Dias, who had 1HP… bizotch….
Now im working on a universe difficulty file… Rena file at that… would you believe it took me 4 or 5 trys to win my first battle, tis fricking HARD… that file is gonna be tight though, gonna have claude, rena, ashton and dias… I can see it now, Mirror Slice, Sword Dance and Illusion… man oh man, pure POWER!!!
I prefer using Ripper Blast over Mirror Slice…
Does anyone have Mirror Slice at 999 proficiency? If so, how effective is it? I use Ripper Blast because it doesn’t have to be performed at close range, and even at a long distance can hit several times for 9999 provided your Claude is strong enough.
I love the challenge this game provides when it comes to battles, but as Lionheart said it does seem a little sloppy at times. The worst part of it all is how the game locks up sometimes, causing you to have to start from your latest save. Kinda like a unofficial gameover, and it tends to happen to me alot just after a battle. CoT doesn’t have any save points that I know of, and it’s no puny little cave either, so if your game happens to blank out in there of all places… (or the Synard Cave, for that matter..)
The story isn’t all that great, but it’s something that the gameplay somehow makes up for.
