Games not complicated in the least bit and there was no need to make another KH thread when there’s a shitload of them already.
I hated that, hence why I chose to stay alive for the entire game, I only get defeated by the once again imba Sephiroth. T_T
Oh, it definitely isn’t. I actually had trouble with KHI, but with II all that was hard for me was the second Demyx battle and Sephiroth.
That’s all true. Having not played CoM, I had no idea who Roxas, Namine, DiZ, Axel, or pretty much anyone else was in that game. The prologue was much too long, there’s far too much Disney for my liking, and honestly, the only things I really liked about it were the battle system and the ending. Organization XIII pwned as well, though. <3
That could change, and I’m open to it, but overall I just wasn’t very excited about it.
Also, CoM made perfect sense to me, it was just the intro to II. I was like if I don’t get this, how is someone who never played CoM supposed to understand it.
That Struggle Master is a pedo. He can’t get enough of Seifer’s "cool moves" O rly? o_O
lolz. Well if they ever release the Final Mix version of II here, you can play it on a PS2. It was a fun game and necessary to the plot, but I don’t see myself playing it again.
It started slow, hence my initial dislike, but it picked up and was very decent by the end. As always, the best stuff was the original content. Loved the battle system, loved the forms. It was just like FF V, keeping the best stuff for yourself π Though, it felt like Glide came WAY too late in the process. Though, I think that is just contrast effect, not like you needed it for platforming purposes like in the original.
I didn’t like having to visit each world 2-3 times. I’m all for coming back for items and hidden stuff, but when you weren’t fighting the movies main baddies (something you already did in the original) you were fighting superfluous Heartless creations. It makes me wonder if the game could function without Disney content at all. They effectively increased the original characters 5 fold, but maybe it is essential and I should have my ears boxed for saying such things without thinking them through :p GameInformer speculated that perhaps Disney handcuffed them when it came to writing novel situations for their characters, so they were stuck with just having them play out their pre-established stories.
As I said, the best content,to me, was the original (i.e., involving Sora, Riku, Kairi, DIZ, Namine, Organization XIII). 13 characters each with a different element and weapon = Good Formulaic Times. The Proof of Existance room is just beautific in its systematicity/tragedy.
The reaction commands were interesting, but they got old. Mainly I’d just jump around trying to ellicit one just so I could say I had seen it. The Final Battles looked flashy but felt more like an interactive story book (yes, this coming from a Xenosaga fan). Just let me whack him already!!! The only one that I can remember off hand being absolutely crucial was Learn in the Xaldin fight.
My complaints with the battle system end there, however, because I was in the air for days at time. Being able to kill an enemy and then move to another in mid-air was [insert overused positive adjective]. Final Form, ftw.
Overall, I enjoyed myself. Instead of a useless rating, I’ll pose a question: When exactly did Kairi meet Roxas? I may be incredibly dense, but I can’t remember.
And after going through this game a second time, I liked it more than the first. I guess it’s one of those games that you notice something different about it each time you play it.
Ansem, the Wise: A heart is so much more than any system. I saw it when Roxas and Kairi crossed paths.
EDIT: Maybe he meant in the time between Roxas being created and becoming part of Organization XIII. Time unaccounted for soothes the savage ploy hole :p
In the end of KH2 when they are outside of kingdom hearts, and Sora sees roxas after fighting him and kairi sees nanime they touch hands with their nobodies and vow to be together 24/7
EDIT: yeppers: DiZ: NaminοΏ½’s encounter with Roxas put his heart in contact with Kairi’s. And that, in turn, affected Sora. You see?
….oh wait.
Now you’ll take care as to read the date of the last post to see if it’s recent…hopefully.
