As usual with angelfire you have to copy and paste the URL. In other words, if you know of a site that offers free accounts and allows external links, let me know. Anyway, on the show.
On this picture I’ve tried a top-down view and no texture at all. Crikey!
This is my favourite of the two. Here I’ve drawn nothing but clothing, hair, boots and make-up. You are what you wear, right? :p
Comments are welcome.
It’s a stark contrast, isn’t it?
I like stuff like this.
Like some kind of graphic design to be used for an advert.
Yeah, very cool.
;D

I’ve registered an account on the site rezo mentioned, so no more Angelfire crap.
Please tell me how you got the background so white if it’s a scan…. all my scans end up having all this texture and weird crap all over the background, I’d love to just have the drawing it self where you could color it on a computer etc, just to make figuring out color schemes for my characters easier

You making them all black and white photos?
Sometimes when it’s a colour photo it comes out with all the little faults in the paper. Otherwise, I dunno.

I scan it as a colour picture, then I just increase the contrast. That way you don’t have to worry about the ink being thick enough.
the black and white is very atmospheric and groovy ^^
Its not as hard as it seems. If you’re having trouble doing it straight with ink, draw it in pencil, and ink the sections that you want in the image, then erase out the other parts. because ink is definite and a brush usually puts down a decent sized line, it doesn’t take that long.
